- Songs are like People - I see them as alive and ever changing - Going way beyond one static recording . I love watching the way a song shape shifts depending on who is in the audience or which fingers play the chords and with their own unique emotion. For this reason I love remixes - it’s not about improving something , it’s more about reinterpreting and having fun with it .
I love how Unwritten has become so personal to people . I hear so many stories of what it means to people and each one is so different.
We just did a remix to celebrate how this song has taken on a life of its own and put it up for you to move to if the spirit moves you . And now here I am , on the same day it was released, in the woods singing a completely different rendition with my baby on my lap and at a couple moments adding his own little Tones.
Save pop by making songs like the early 2000’s.

This song was part of my journey 11 years ago this played in the hospital as I was battling my depression. She played every morning on Vh1 or MTV along with her song Love Like This. Her album Pocket Full Of Sunshine was part of that time as well, for our whole wing.she is releasing new music right now and noticed that it had been 9 years for her to do music, out of new found freedom. I feel freer than then too. Music is a huge part of that in every way. Music heals.
My sister introduced this to me when I was like 5 and I'm now 13. I've lived by these words since. Love from Kentucky!

The first time I heard this song, I was 13. A teacher sent me, before a test cause I was always too worried about grades... Became your fan since then. This version made me cry of hapiness. Its like I'm living the best momentos of my life again. Thank you for this.

I actually struggle with the riff. Just that pace and style. Let alone I am actually not the best at pull offs. Even then hammer ons and what else could possibly be. Don't explain it if you can't make me do it. I have a drivers permit but I can't have much control with my foot, all I know is walk, wiggle it and 25 MPH golf carts are all I can do without issues, so it's like that.
