Well done mate I had a single mackerel of the Ryde club boats towards the nearest fort that was 2 weeks ago haven’t been on the boats since . Good luck 🎣👍🏼😎
Really good drone footage - I've been giving it a go but struggle a bit with a tiny Mavic Mini (original) as the wind really upsets it. What drone were you using here?
That drone is good, I love the way they capture so much scenery. Nice to see the rod action with the Smuts. Keep up the good work 😊
Thank you! 😁 it’s sometimes tricky recording and fishing at the same time but I’m getting there 🎣
Nice little video, drone shots were cracking, and some fish too .appreciate your efforts 👍🏼👍🏼🎣🦈
Thank you very much!! 😁🎣
Best rule of thumb i have come across is 1.5 times the length of your boat in chain on the anchor then the rest rope. Good vids!
Nice video, great to learn about uptide and downtide fishing
I’m always keen to learn different ways, find what works and stick with it for a while. Thanks for your comment 😃

Yeah there doesn’t seem to be many mackerel around at the moment.. hope they come in numbers soon 😃
Stick at the uptiding especially round Sandown 🎣🎣🎣🎣
Definitely going to be putting up tiding more into my fishing. Keep checking the weather to see when I can get round the back and try it 😁
Nice video mate it definitely was better than the downtide rods I do it when the water is quite shallow like under 50 ft I can be better at times
In New Zealand I drift and cast uptide with soft plastic baits and we do well

I use the DJI mini 3 drone. It’s so compact and easy to carry and Not too bad in wind
