    Thank You Bryan, I’ve watched hundreds of hours of your instruction as well as a couple other gentlemen.
    I’ve heard it said time and time again using English for position play… I became a great shot maker as advised using center, high and low. I tried learning to aim with English and my game went completely south. Well my friend today I FINALLY GOT IT!!!!! Oh my God it feels so good. It’s almost as though I just joined an elite club.
    For me putting it all together …my optimal bridge length, shot pace and repetition of pace, center ball shotmaking skills, then and only then…..FRONT AND BACKHAND ENGLISH….when and why to use both. Cut induced throw, spin induced throw used to cancel CIT,but even more so I’m using a simple tip left or right to make nearly every shot.
    I finally get it…..it just all comes together…I ran 20-30 racks today after years of misfiring shots using English…..
    Forever grateful for all you do,you are appreciated!!!

    Great video! And very good timing for me. I'm at a level where I kinda realize these shots are "maybe" going to be a scratch, but listing them out like this and watching them happen makes it so much clearer in my head. Now I'll be able to "know" it's a problem and know what to do to avoid it. Thanks again for all your vids.

    My pool playing has imporved since watching your videos, especially on hitting a ball up against the rail into the corner pocket. It actually improved my skill set all around in aiming. Ever since then I have been more clean and controlled in my shots. Thank you!!!

    Scratching is a phenomenon sometimes. Once a person scratches, sometimes it keeps happening over and over even when that player is consciously attempting to stop it.

I'm like - "this is brilliant" ... oh wait, yeah, I shoulda seen that & and the non-brilliant part --- I know/knew it!!! This game is magnificent ... yet so very very humbling!!! : ) Another good one B - yer vods don't miss!!! Be Safe

    Good morning Brian!
    Hope you’re doing well.
    Sunk four solids on a break last night!
    I just want to be consistent with that.
    All I did was soften up on my stroke. 😃👍

    Another great lesson. Much appreciated. I’m wondering what level is a player that averages 5 balls on his first set on a 9’ table?

    • @FXBilliards
      @FXBilliards  3 місяці тому

      It’s more about the total innings it takes you to get through an eight ball rack as opposed to how many balls you can run after the break. Thanks for watching. Sorry I couldn’t give you a better answer.

    Mine was, an almost straight in the corner pocket so I cheated the pocket with force follow and came 2 rails out with the intention of going 3 rails to get down to the other end of the table and scratched in the side where I was standing/shooting from. It was beautiful until it wasn't lol.

    Another common one is when shooting combination shots. Lots of players will follow the cue ball right behind the combination shot into the same pocket. Must hit that cue with low English to avoid this from happening.
