I’m running the Milwaukee nailers (18g,15g, & 30 deg. framing) love’em. My only concern is the longevity of their internal seals - your mileage may vary, some folks have not had a good run with theirs. My only gripe with the nailers is that there is no external Schrader valve to top off the air. I do realize it is filled with nitrogen from the factory. Just from (my observations) - nitrogen loss from the cylinder appears to be a common reason for the nailers to not fire; no top up valve, just kinda leaves a fella stranded in the field. Otherwise - really am very pleased with them.
I have the Gen 1 Milwaukee 15GA nailer that I bought in 2017. My contractor friend got one a couple years before me. I got the same he got . The Gen 1 is a louder and the kickback seem harsher when comparing to the new Gen 2 Milwaukee. My contractor friend’s Gen 1 one stopped working and getting repair was just too expensive he said. He mention about the nitrogen but I can’t remember if he said if that was caused. He used it for a few years before it stopping working. When I stopped contracting work 2021, I sold him mine in 2022. The Gen 1 at that time in 2018 seem like it was the best option for 15GA nailer. It worked well for my application and I enjoyed it. But the Gen 2 Milwaukee seems a lot nicer to work with.
This is the only reason I’m considering a Dewalt.
It also appears that Milwaukee doesn’t make any parts diagrams or parts available for this tool. Some BS about it being dangerous.
You effectively need two if you’re a pro. Because they will go down and need service.
Think I must’ve pressed the fast forward button by mistake or something since I was in the last 30 seconds of the vid and was genuinely confused when he said “I love these tools both and thank u guys for watching” 😂😂😭
I’ve been using the Milwaukee for trim work and cabinetry for the past couple months. Very nice but not perfect. Sometimes it doesn’t fire, usually when I have my pieces lined up perfectly, I’m stretching awkwardly and I really want to nail it! I still like it a lot.
That’s Murphy law 😂
What is the differnce or should I say what are the differences between these three brad nailers,15 gauge,16 gauge and 18 gauge.I really want to know so that I will be well informed to know which one of them that can do a crossover which ofcourse is the model that I will buy.
Great video. Right to the point and excellent dialogue.
Thank you 😊
I’m a dewalt guy but my coworker has the Milwaukee one and that thing is a beast. I like it way better than the dewalt. Def considering buying the Milwaukee.
What about it do you like more?
@@hammerandhomethe Milwaukee Brad nailer is better than the dewalt one. From using both, the Milwaukee is way better in my opinion. I do a lot of renovation work so I’ve used both.
@@shampoo6563 I would agree. I haven’t picked up my dewalt in a long time. It’s just really nice to use. Check out the 23ga aswell. Look sweet. Also Milwaukee is coming out with a new 18ga this year. M12 version up to 1-5/8 I think.
Milwaukee always brings perfection. Glad I'm in the M18 platform
What happened to gen 1 didn't last a fucking year that's perfection
@@loucifer4205 I still have my impact driver I think it's gen 2 or 3 it's a few years old and I still use it to take my lug nuts off my jimmy it's never failed me
Milwaukee for the win. Milwaukee is the king of power tools, but Dewalts got better table saws, compound saws and planers
Yeah it’s definitely a mixed bag. I’m happy to be on both platforms, have you tried the m12 planer? It’s awesome
Milwaukee is not the best, they make some tools better and Dewalt makes some tools better
@@Lee-lb9qh ERT. wrong. I go to trade shows as a customer service rep for contracting companies. It’s what I do. Milwaukee is the king of power tools. I don’t have a dog in the fight. Sure dewalts 2nd sometimes 3rd or 4th, but until you have 20 years in the industry going to trade shows as a rep seeing it with your own eyes don’t comment.
@@kyleallen1858"ERT. wrong" 😂 OK clown, I didn't even read anything after ERT. Wrong, had me rolling too hard, not gonna read anything from anyone who starts with that lame crap 😂😂😂
@@Lee-lb9qh you’re a gay brand loyalist. Fuckin Biden supporter
Do we have a Milwaukee Power Washer yet?
Should probably shoot into pine. The dewalt will leave a much grosser hole. And I’m a dewalt guy.
I’ll do that on the next one. Cheers
I love gross holes
