This guy must have emulated a video of DT playing those parts in real life because he also nailed the hand positions, the petrucci hand, the Myung and Rudess finger technique.
I remember seeing Overkill (thrash band) and the singer would go backstage like every moment there were only probably 20 seconds of instrumental shit, he was def pounding shots and getting shitfaced, hell his name is Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth, he was getting "blitzed" all right....great show though, plus it was a double-header with Symphony X (who I came to see specifically, love me some Prog/Power metal) and Overkill was just a bonus....my eardrums suffered not in vain
One of the best things I have ever seen on youtube... really whoever made this got talent... This is going to my favorites... THIS is the art of creation
Holy shit, someone who can animate hands to accurately reflect what's being played in the song. That's some serious skill.
I've noticed that today. after all those years...
Like Metalocalypse, but even then there are probably a few inaccuracies

These animations were done by Mike Tyyskä, a great guitarist in his own right, hence the accuracy.
At least we know where Labrie hide during the instrumentals
Hid inside the OCTAVARIUM!

Meanwhile, in the maze with LaBrie haha
The video itself loops perfectly like Octavarium
JHON MYUNGS DISIGN 😭
Portnoy - Drums
Petrucci - Guitar
Myung - Bass
Rudess - Keyboards
LaBrie - Navigation through endless scary maze full of nightmarish spider hell spawn creatures
Wait..did Dream Theater just turn into an octopus?
