@@RCRGIRL Haha love the energy. Great ride videos keep em up! If you're ever in the Sacramento area check out the Connector and Fuel Break to Culvert Trails in Auburn!
Thanks Dan! If I had a camera pointing towards me it would have been all smiles and a couple eeee faces, lol. Merry Belated Christmas to you and cheers to a wonderful New Year!
So many good options out there! This last time I was out there I rode Bear's Best and the connector to get out to it, holy crap it was a blast! Once you got close to Bear's Best there were so many little places to play and do some drops and jumps!
Me too, It will take many trips to get them all in. I hear Bears Best is a great one and the ones out in Boulder with the Shuttles. Can't wait to check those out. Thinking it would be more fun with a group of friends.
3 mile smile is the combination of upper and lower red valley downhill on the south side of the highway. It looks like you did badger pass to white rhino to late night. From badger pass, instead of turning right to go to white rhino, hang to the left to continue going up badger pass to the switchbacks. From there go down the switchbacks and go left at the bottom to go up upper red valley. Once you hit the sign you will be at the top of upper red valley and the start of 3 mile smile.
Brian Allen I was confused the first time I rode out there because White Rhino is not listed on Trailforks, they have it as 3 mile smile. I'll have to go left next time (stay on Badger) and check that whole section out! Thanks for clearing that up for me! :)
That makes sense, it's the portion that is "white" and kind of rocky. My goal next time is to go faster down that section, maybe pop off some of those baby drops...we'll see hahaha
Trails look fun, you have some good trail footage, i will be in Vegas for work and will be riding a few trails on Nov 22-23 2019. would be great to ride with some locals that know the trails. Hit me up lets ride
There's a possibility I might be there during that time since we usually do Thanksgiving in Vegas...I'll let ya know. Otherwise, stop into Irwins Bike Shop (Neighborhood Bike Shop) they'll get you situated with anything you need and they also do a ton of group rides and are awesome people! www.irwinscycles.com
Hey Donna, I’m in Las Vegas this week and gonna ride Nov 22nd & 23rd. Are you and your husband gonna be around? I will be renting bikes to ride but not sure from what shop yet. I did look at Irwin’s site. Not sure what mountains I will be riding yet either I am open to recommendations.
@@OneTallCool1 I'll be in Vegas for an event, not sure if/when I'll be riding. It will most likely be a last minute decision depending on when I can get away. (I have a big ATV race). I love IRWIN's though I don't think they do rentals. For that I believe you'd have to do Las Vegas Cyclery, they have a pretty good selection of quality bikes to rent too! Places to ride...it's hard to go wrong out at Blue Diamond, the Late Night Trailhead. You can find all the info on Trailforks app. I've posted up several videos (you can find them under the Vegas Playlist). Trails like: 3 Mile Smile Late Night Mustang Landmine ***these are all out at Late Night*** There's also some fun ones just down the road from Late Night at a place the locals call South West Ridge. - Good Call - Legalize it Bear's Best is also pretty cool. Hope this helps...my advice would be to skim through the videos of some of those trails and then pick the one/s that look fun to you guys!! :)
2:13 "ARRRGGGHHH, OOHHHHH, HAHA, OH SHIT!" LOL rode this on Tuesday and had the exact same reaction!
So Krispy17 I had to go back and watch to see what section it was. Too funny! Haha

Was actually just up there for about a week but I was in class so not a lot of actual riding. Can't wait to get back up there and do some exploring!
@@RCRGIRL Yes definitely hope you get to ride out here next time, tons of fun trails! Happy Holidays!
I didn’t think Vegas had any mountain bike trails. Cool video
Man, Vegas has some of the best trails...if you don't mind some rocks and cactus. Thanks for the 🙌🏼
Donna Ellsworth sweet I’ll look into it. Would be a cool place for my son and I to take a road trip
Your best vid so far great to see you tackling something with a bit more chunk and handling it so well
Thanks Mathew, means a lot! Trying to work on those chunk skills hahaha
I can tell your progressing and its pretty cool to watch. Your enthusiasm on those trails is fun. Happy new years and Merry belated Christmas. 🦆

Rode out there in the Summer, it was awesome. Just had to beat the heat by going early.
FatBoy Cheto we have to do the same thing here in the summer, go ole 5am rides haha. I love it though! Did you ride any other trails there?
I did some of Bear's Best and the Cowboy trails. I wish I had a lot more time out there though, but it was an afterthought.
I was just there 2 weeks ago! Great trails!!!

Yeah, white rhino is just a small portion of 3 mile smile. It is just that steep downhill where you veered off from badger pass.
That makes sense, it's the portion that is "white" and kind of rocky. My goal next time is to go faster down that section, maybe pop off some of those baby drops...we'll see hahaha

Love that movie, always been a classic in our family.
