Where's my girl Where has she gone She once was Beautiful and innocent I can't believe In what she says I look at her And she looked the other way Disconnected, from feeling alright Disconnected, and it Ain't black and white Disconnected, there's a Sword through the dove Disconnected, from the country I love I remember you When you we young and strong In your summer dress And legs so long My memories are only for me I prefer them to reality Disconnected, from feeling alright Disconnected, and it Ain't black and white Disconnected, there's a Sword through the dove Disconnected, from the country I love You think it's over But you better think again Neither grace nor sweetness Just malicious intent It's you and me baby So we better watch our back Cause if we are standing together We ain't never gonna crack And we took the greyhound Into the night With the city on the left And the country on the right And I knew when I saw you I read it in your eyes I heard your voice break When you we're Trying not to die Disconnected, from feeling alright Disconnected, and it Ain't black and white Disconnected, there's a Sword through the dove Disconnected, from the country I love Disconnected, disconnected, disconnected Disconnected, from the country I love
My wireless buds saying "disconnected" when I close the lid on my laptop brought me here. Every time I hear it, without any exception, I always go "From feeling alright" in my mind (and sometimes even out loud). So I guess I should thank my headphones for making me come here and give the song another listen after a relatively long time.
look up Matt freeman's devil's brigade if you like his vocals. Also there's- Black derby jacket (album: rancid 2000) - Don't call me white (NFOX cover), - Rigged on a fix and Reconcilliation (rancid 2000) and Tenderloin - gun shot (Album: let's go) is what springs to mind.
Where's my girl
Where has she gone
She once was
Beautiful and innocent
I can't believe
In what she says
I look at her
And she looked the other way
Disconnected, from feeling alright
Disconnected, and it
Ain't black and white
Disconnected, there's a
Sword through the dove
Disconnected, from the country I love
I remember you
When you we young and strong
In your summer dress
And legs so long
My memories are only for me
I prefer them to reality
Disconnected, from feeling alright
Disconnected, and it
Ain't black and white
Disconnected, there's a
Sword through the dove
Disconnected, from the country I love
You think it's over
But you better think again
Neither grace nor sweetness
Just malicious intent
It's you and me baby
So we better watch our back
Cause if we are standing together
We ain't never gonna crack
And we took the greyhound
Into the night
With the city on the left
And the country on the right
And I knew when I saw you
I read it in your eyes
I heard your voice break
When you we're
Trying not to die
Disconnected, from feeling alright
Disconnected, and it
Ain't black and white
Disconnected, there's a
Sword through the dove
Disconnected, from the country I love
Disconnected, disconnected, disconnected
Disconnected, from the country I love
Highschool memories about the girl I thought I loved. Good times I suppose, looking back.

@@Drikkerbadevand very cool stuff man, thanks!
@@autogolazzojr7950 much appreciated!
Matt did some of vocals on their debut album since Lars hadn’t joined the band yet
do they still play
Hell yeah forever
Here's what they mean by "tomorrow never comes"! Bad religion has the album " how can hell be any worse"? Well rancid answered "tomorrow never comes"?
I wonder if these guys believe in repenting
Repent from what? Singing about feeling disconnected with the country they love? Big sin lol
