In terms of sound, it goes to Heat, they managed to get that "rumble" sound layer just the shifting seems off,
FH4 sound is more like the standard Huracan or a Gallardo and they didn't use the proper dash display
That's the "Strada" display. Every Huracan has 3 different displays being the performante or not.
@@superniko20 and the huracan display in the asseto corsa and The Crew 2 is like that, because this car was set in Corsa Mode (Huracan has 3 driving modes: Strada (Comfort), Sport and Corsa (Race).
In my opinion. NFS Heat sounds like mix of V6 and Lambo V12. In terms of outside It's hard to say, but closest is Forza, even if it sounds as standard Huracan. Inside Assetto Nailed it.

AC always sounds awful in the low RPMs, but nobody plays AC in 3rd person and AC's 1st person has the best sound of that straight-cut transmission.

Heat nailed the sound, assetto the pops and crackles, forza the standart huracan sound, and the crew the engine sound ;)
Honestly.... i agree, this is a pretty good description of what i think of it overall. NFSH nailed it with the overall sound especially the rumble, nothing much else to say there. I love the pops and crackles in AC, but the sound itself is garbage. FH4 is surprisingly decent, it has a good standard Huracan sound. and TC has good engine sound, tho the low to mid rev range sounds weird, it gets better in the higher revs, and for some reason it's really slow.

@@diesertobey I honestly don't have a favorite, i like them all for many individual reasons like NFSH and it's customization and well layout of the map and story and incredible sound design of the cars, the overall package is very decent, with FH4 it's the tuning and mods, insane graphics and car list, for TC2 it's the dynamic variety and well done combo and AC is just a really nice game to mess around in and really get good with you driving skills. I enjoy all of these, but there are also many things in these games that put me off to the point where i can't really say they are good enough to deserve a spot in my book as a favorite game, but if i were/have to rank them in terms of which one i like the most it would be (for now at the current moment):
1. NFSH
2. FH4
3. AC
4. TC2

Don't forget NFSMW 2012 that has the most realistic car sounds in the game. So I'd say the best sounding cars in nfs history are in mw 2012. I also love older/newer nfs car sounds, but in that game, they are on top notch. Thx to Criterion Games co-work with EA

As much as i love Assetto Corsa and Forza, NFS Heat is definitely the best sounding one here. Forza Horizon 4's Performante has the same sound file as the standard Huracan. That soundfile is originally from Forza Horizon 3. They could have used the Huracan's Forza 7 sound file (since fh4 uses fm7 sounds for most cars). Or they could have put the R8 V10 Plus sound into the Performante with little few tweaks on the exhaust note making it a bit aggressive. FH4's sounds are mostly re-used FM7 sounds and FH3 sounds. Pure laziness from both PG and Turn10

I agree forza doesn't have the best sounds, but that doesn't ruin the gameplay experience for me. Also its funny that you say forza has lazy Devs. They literally add new cars every month with cool events like the eliminator they added 2 months ago.

Been playing fh4 for more than half a year now. Whenever I itch for race, I open it. I just love FH4 for what it is. Maps may not be the fanciest, as it's gloomy just like the UK the game tried to replicate. FH3 has way more color to it since they're based with Australia. But then again, I love FH4 attention to details, those interiors look damn pretty on my PC with max graphics, that's for sure. Bodykits customization indeed could use some improvements but those tuning I can do with my car when it comes to gearbox, differential, aero, spring, I'd say they're my go-to game.

Or just in general experience and the fun of the drive with all the details like sound, sense of speed and accuracy and such mixed in ? If it's for realism (example physics overall), i think AC is the better one. None of them are realistic or even close really, but this is the closest i would say, based on research and others opinions tho. If it's for the feel and fun factor then i would say any of them would be good, all comes down to preference, if you want good sound design and good customization and details then NFS is an acceptable choice, if you want decent physics and good graphics and details then FH4 is really good, if you want a mix of that (kind of like a jack of all trades master of none) then TC2 is good. Tho if you feel like you want your money's worth and a well rounded game in general then FH4 and TC2 might be the best choice for a lot of people and it's pretty good overall with their respective attributes and updates. Honestly just think about what you like or want, and see which game corresponds and or connects best with those desires.

A.C. It has horrible sounds, but it's a good racing game. The crew 1 and 2 have the biggest maps of all with planes and boats. NFS has a "different" ride to all of them, making it easy to play. Forza has a little bit of everything, it's the perfect balance.

@@muaythai193 lol idk what you really mean by safe mods, I dont think ive got viruses from mods, theyre mostly just data files, but definitely check racedepartment, has almost every type of mod to offer. implements rules about stolen mods and other games so a bit restrictive, but thats like a tip of the iceberg for mods for this game, you can dig in and find smaller communities for mods, there are even quality paid mods, id suggest urd, vrc and rss, they offer mostly car mods, if you really are gonna get into mods get content manager, a launcher/everything manager for ac and then you can install custom shaders patch and then sol mods, these mods offer you massive experience changes such as rain and night racing! I can go on and on about this but theres really a lot and it can be a bit intimidating so just ask me what you wanna know and ill try to answer
