Sir, India and China has a long long history. Unlike India has been colonized by UK., China has been invaded by Mongolians but was absorbed by Chinese. It is culturally superior than theirs. China was never an aggressive country unlike the West. What make you think China has become a bully? You need to look at the history. You have been brainwashed by the West and your greedy politicians. What have India done in the last 100 years compare that with China? You copy from the best. If you copy the democracy of the West, India will go no where. Just read about the US foreign policy. Watch Kishore Mahbubani’s videos.

@@joewong438 I do accept that since our independence because of our politicians we are not as developed as China is and I also accept that it is because of the slow nature of democracy and definitely western influence. ..But things are changing now slowly but surely.... but as we are now I m sorry to say even though india know about the western influence we can't afford to be so full of ourselves and let go of the western support that would literally be suicide bcz China is very serious on taking Arunachal Pradesh we can't afford to lose it .... I do understand China is more similar to India in terms of strong sense of nationalism and holding pride in culture than west is ....Our politicians weren't that great and we've had a lot of problems and we still do but losing now would hit the Indians more than ever....China wants hegemony right now accept it . What india is doing even if it seems like being used by the west it is the only way to counter China for us ...
Wish we could've been on good terms .
And I think as india is so diverse authoritarianism may backfire democracy is the possible way of managing India....but as we know checks and balances in democracy can be so irritating and would slow down development and that's exactly what the west want ..they dont want us to develop using democracy as their tool do so and we know that..but we are just moving the best Possible way...it is ok to be used by west than get ruled by Chinese
And I think even if west try their ass of to stop our development we will develop anyways now cause education is rising ..After all, we all asians are raised to tackle difficult scenarios ..aren't we

To make room for 120 million unemployed, jobless indians , a chunk has to be cut out from China. Every month, 1 million young indians enter the job market seeking work when there is none. This dilemma is a result of 1/2 of India's population is under the age of 25, or 650 million. China will have to resort to using nuclear weapons to stop the hordes of unemployed indians pouring into Tibet.
India already annexed Sikkim under duress in 1975. Large numbers of indian immigrants moved into Sikkim, and now the Sikkimese are a minority in their own country.

The speaker says that India has retaliated militarily , economically etc. But latest reports say that trade with china has surged in 2021, how do u explain that ? India must take tough, stern n bold policies n actions against china in zerorising trade with china, close all china consulates, recognise Tibet as independent, develop nuclear arsenal to match the enemy, etc. Otherwise the people will say " a fool never learns". It will be like the shepherd boy who cried wolf, vut when on one fine day the wolf really came it was too late as all the sheep were gone. The moral here is Action Speaks Louder than Words. Economically, there must be self sufficiency n no reliance whatsoever on china.

Mr Vohra is a private individual, who wants to be enemies with China. He isn't in government. He is a former ambassador (never posted to China) who left tge foreign service a decade ago.
I am sad that there are so many Indians who can't let go of the fact that they lost a war with China so many years ago, and now wants a rematch to restore their honour. Are they out of their mind???!!!
China is so much stronger today, and now they occupy the high ground. They've spent a lot of their enormous wealth building up the infrastructure on their side of the border, whereas India has preserved the unspoilt nature on their side. India would struggle to get army units there. And BOTH COUNTRIES HAVE NUKES!!!

Not related to anything here, but I am also very sad that so many Chinese cannot let go of what the IJA did 80 years ago.
Why can't we all just live in peace with each other? Those soldiers who died on the Indian and Chinese sides ... so many lives lost ... what did it achived?

China should realise that they should stick steadfastly to any peace and country boundaries that have been agreed since 1947 times with any country weather over land or sea. You cannot go around shoving your discreet terror on any country in Asia. Asian countries have been sticking to the boundaries long agreed even if they are temporary. The Asia land doesn't belong to you. There were and are other nations owners of their land and sea around them. They have been there thousands of years. You cannot win any war nor can you rule over these countries around you. Jai Barat. Jai jawan

This is my observation of the India and China frictions were started my CIA. Why you have to ask this ambassador. Why suddenly there is HongKong, Tibet, Xinjiang and Taiwan disturbances? India has bowed to the West and joined the Quad. If you don’t believe me ask another Indian decent Kishore Mahbubani!!

Agree with Amb. Vohra, not just on the valour of our soldiers who unwittingly protected the country's honour by sacrificing their lives. There is still the need for continuing to engage China, since we will always be neighbours. Still, we are not doing enough to take them on economically. Our trade deficit with them continues to grow, there seems to be a paucity of ideas, whether from our industrialists and entrepreneurs in energising Indian industry, or by our Babus in taking development to the villages, or by our security/ foreign policy experts in taking on China in overseas markets.

The heroic fantasy ambassador is telling here has no physical or actuall proof ..no clips. No fotage...at all...but result is that 20 indian soldiers were brutally killed..10 were arrested..according to indians but the numbers were high..Any way the proof of the incident came out from China where they showed indians soldier's were shown with broken noses..faces.broken legs and other limbs laying on the ground battered..tired..and depressed..pradded walking shamefully with the help of Chinese soldiers..and on some piccs shown holding their ears like a naughty school kids..who is lieing here...? Indians have this natural ability to lie internationally blatantly...and 120 millions indians wants to believe it bcoz its suits them
