I wish Guitar Center would have interviewed her about her equipment, because she uses electronics in really cool ways. She uses trigger pads, a laptop running Ableton software, as well as other tech to play lots of different sounds and parts from Neon Trees' records. It would go a long way toward selling that stuff to show how modern drummers use tech live.
Drummer for *****, Elaine Bradley stopped by our Hollywood Vintage Room to talk with us about musical expression, the raw feeling of performance, and the unified drive behind Neon Trees. Get inspired!
The beat that drives Neon Trees! Excellent for sure.

I'm unimpressed by 99.9% of female drummers. That .1% that blows me away is Anika Nilles. She is sick!
Have you seen meytall?

There are plenty of women playing drums at the highest level, you should check out a few; Cindy Blackman, Terri Lyne Carrington, Emmanuel Caplette
