Dear Fraser, thank you so much for this video, as well as for all of your videos. Until your video and your very sanguine comments, we had rather had the impression that the Virgin Ships were rather like a 1960's hippies commune group festival, very Mid-America, at sea, imagine a Virgin version of the 1960's musical "Aquarius". We generally tend to Cunard, Holland America and Fred Olsten and the P&O old foggies ships, think Town and Country at sea. After your video, we are really considering it. Kind regards, Lulú and Family
Oh, thanks so much for watching - I’m so glad you’ve found it useful! Also, what a compliment that you’d now consider them - that’s amazing! Your references in this comment really made me laugh, so thanks for brightening up my morning, ha! Thanks again for watching and therefore supporting my channel!
We are in our late 60’s, and we have been on 4 Virgin cruises, and will be going on our 5th and 6th in the next few months. Fraser’s tips are right on point! One of the best things about Virgin is the chill, welcoming vibe. We love that a lot of things are included in the price, and there are very few announcements over the speaker system. The food really is excellent! Thanks to Fraser for an excellent video.
Great content!! Thank you! Do you know if Virgin has a white pizza? It's a pizza without red sauce. Carnival has one. Quattro formagio. Happy cruising! Anna
Very nice video and good tips! That really is a small solo cabin! Not used to having to book entertainment in advance. Glad to hear there are some chill areas, but looking at that pool party, not sure Virgin is for me-think I’d feel old!🤣
Yeah, it’s a funny one - deff very different to the other lines! Thanks for watching - I’m glad you enjoyed, Cheri! For sure, there are parties, but also plenty chill time too!
Great informative video!. Still think VC are offering a confused experience, which appears to be an odd mix of refinement blurred with innuendos of a particular nature at every possible opportunity? Is this fair to say? Not actually been onboard.
This is a really polite way of putting it. I think it is somewhat mixed, but that’s not a criticism from my view, as they’re still such a new cruise line and trying to find their feet. Will be interested to see how they evolve over the next few years, but I’ll 100% support them!
Hey, thanks for watching! I haven’t, but have heard mixed reviews. Some love it, others I’ve heard not massively rate it. I haven’t tried it, so can’t really advise on that one - so sorry!
I’m on my very first Virgin cruise in August - at 69; I’m bricking it!
Oh, amazing! Which ship and itinerary are you doing? I’ve got so much more VV content on my channel - it might help reassure you - have the best trip!
Great info. Looking forward to our 1st VV cruise later this year
Thanks guys - looking forward to seeing what you think! Which route and ship are you doing?

Thanks Anna! On my cruise, yes they did, but I believe it was a special that was only available a couple of days of the cruise! Hope this helps 😊
Thank you! We are going the first time on Virgin in December and looking forward to it.

Great video. Very informative. I've sailed them twice now and agree with everything. I often go solo as well. Thanks again. ❤️
Amazing - thanks so much!
Great review and video Fraser. Hope you are enjoying your current cruise with Emma Cruises and the gang 😊

Great tips. 3:03 that pizza looks amazing 🤤
Oh my goodness - it’s to DIE for. It’s really annoying it’s free - makes it so easy to keep eating more of it, haha!

Pocket guide to Virgin cruising !! 😊
What more could you want in your pocket than a mini Fraser? Ha!
Well the full size one is a bit big.... no actually the website is becoming a great reference too ! 👏
@@stephenm8818 ha, that’s funny! Ah, I’m happy you’re seeing it growing - that’s so great!
Great vid! Have you ever tried the splash of romance package?

Good info, thanks! I had heard about the status match, but how do you apply that? Sounds like it wasn't obvious when booking?
Hey Tammy, you’re right - it’s a little hidden! I just searched ‘Virgin Voyages Status Match’ on google and it all came up - always worth checking!
