- Here's a quick video showing how I remove those pesky mandated warning stickers that Hot Toys is being forced to put onto those gorgeous boxes.

Art supply stores sell little square adhesive removers, usually near the rubber cement. They work very well.

Nice. Sometimes when there's sticky adhesive leftover on the surface, I use a piece of tape to lift it off the surface. Usually a box tape as opposed to regular scotch tape. Carefully and patiently of course.

3M has a spray that removes glue residue from stickers. I advice to put it on a piece of cloth and use the cloth to remove the glue residue. Tnx for the tip Terry 👍

1. When did HT start doing that?
2. Why did they put it on the front of the box?
3. I thought the hazards were already printed on the back of the box?
4. Why does a toy made for adults even need this?
5. My chicken wings didn't come with a choking hazard warning sticker?
6. Yeah that's how I did it with my TVC collection back in the day. That first peel was always the scariest, getting your nail under there without marring the card.
It's a legal requirement from some country or another. I'm not clear enough on the specifics to be trusted with explaining it. My guess, though, is that whatever country is leading this particular charge probably has a broad definition of what constitutes a "toy," and Hot Toys figures almost certainly lie somewhere under that umbrella.
Tiny amount of goo gone on a cloth, rub on and wipe with clean dry cloth. Like new.

You may have noticed that there are new episodes of a condensed version that are appearing on Sideshow’s various social media accounts as UA-cam Shorts, Reels on IG and FB, as well as in TikTok. We’re experimenting with those for now.
How do I just get residue off? I probably ruined it because I already took sticker off but now have residue
