Well done Paul, for making this movie. I agree that one of the most important things we need to do (as a Society) is remove the stigma. My father was bi-polar, and, as a family, we never really talked about it enough. I would also recommend Dr. Jamison's book "An Unquiet Mind" - Dr. Jamison was herself bi-polar and describes both what it is like to be bi-polar and what it is like to have to deal with somebody that has this disease. It is people like Dr. Jamison and Paul Dalio who can help us to understand and even celebrate (Katie's phrase) the amazing people who have this blessed curse.

Adds such a depth of understanding of the experience of Bipolar for a mental health professional. A gift of understanding that will help every client I see.

WOW.... I loved this movie. I have so many emotions from this. The story was very realistic. I fell in love and had a relationship with an “undiagnosed “ bi-polar individual . He is a brilliant scientist and I happen to be a painter ... we made each other absolutely manic but not in a good way.
At first, I didn’t understand that it was bi-polar. I didn’t know what was happening to him or us. Sometimes he never slept, his moods swung wildly then mine would swing. He would crash and then spend days in a dark room in the bed sleeping for hours... but some how be up at 8am and hold a six figure job as a physicist ?
Ultimately, the outbursts of rage over shadowed our connection and our passion and frightened me to such an extent that I had to let go.
He actually pushed me away. I wish I would have seen this movie before we broke up I would have been less reactive.
Maybe If his heart was open to love and he had trust and willingness to take control of his moods and mental health ....maybe we could have made it? So much fear of abandonment.
💔Good job Paul. I cried a lot during this movie. I’m very impressed with Paul as a director and person , his intelligence, honesty, and willingness to take care of himself and his family. Thank You 🙏🏻❤️😢🙂

Like Kirby looks like he's on something .... maybe he's tired . Running on his hair and Shit and never combing it back in his place. The movie was decent .
