Thanks for the video - just wondering if you can help me with an issue I am facing with a sheet metal part.
I would like to save out a multi-body sheet metal part as their own separate files - but using the save bodies only saves them as bodies and I can no longer flatten them.
Is there a way to keep their sheet metal properties when saving out as separate bodies?

If that was from a mirror feature, edit the feature and make sure the "Merge Result" option was turned on
In general to combine two bodies after the fact you can select both solid bodies from the solid body folder, right click, Combine and Add. However this would not be advised for a sheet metal part as it will likely cause issues with flat pattern and other details.
how to give part number for each multi body and then creat separate drawings for each body where part number automatically apear in rach multi drawing sheet.
To pull the name of a cut-list item onto a print, first of all the name must appear in the cut-list item properties (typically the "Description" field is overwritten). In the Drawing, create a model view of the solid body using "Select Bodies", then attach a note to the body. In the note property manager, select "link to property" and reference the "component to which the annotation is attached". Choose the "Description" item that matches the cut-list item property and the name will appear in the note.
Another option is to use the "save bodies" command to create separate part documents for each body, and a separate drawing can be created for each part (this can be automated using the SOLIDWORKS Task Scheduler). Note that the multibody part can still control the dimensions for the other parts as the "master model".

I'm following up to explain the first option. it's perfect and shows the cut list property name or part number in the form of balloon.
but how can I use this balloon number as a part number on a drawing sheet similar to an assembly drawing number?
For the Second option, I tried it and converted a separate body but the flat pattern option was missing on the drawing sheet.
