I respect everyone, but the ambulance crew always takes priority👍
0:04 You can see a cop in the grey van.
It's an CSI Unit. Seems like it's not from Helsinki because Helsinki's CSI uses VW Transporters
But these days they also have the Ford Transit models too, so you are correct on your timeline of your comment and im right on my own timeline of my comment and the reason im saying this is i just dont want any war scene in the comments(:
@@halpala9691 finland has nowadays, vw: porter, caddy, passat, merc: sprinter, vito... skoda and lot of more
Hyvä video

@@EmergencyScandinavia hi im speak finnish but i like ambulance firetruck and policecar in finland
My name is eevi what's your real name are you a human or not
@@EmergencyScandinavia hello say something
@@eevialasalmi5834 Hello!
Nice video, rare catch to have video Finnish policecar using only wail, about 0:20.
Thanks!
@Blackie Foxx why not
@@miros7856 It is legal. It's just not usually used anymore.
@Blackie Foxxless TM It is not illegal, there is no law prohibiting it.
Not using wail is just an internal protocol in the police departments.
@@redneck96100what is "wail"?
I always love the type of vehicles that the Finnish Emergency Departments have, perfer those than the US ones
You gotta be joking! They are extremely depressive, especially after the Helsinki fire department got rid of their Tahoes for the chiefs.
0:52 it sounds like Swedish Ambulance siren during mid and late 1970s, what siren model blackie foxless?
Awesome catches! Your videos are Great!
Thank you 👍
These sirens are so unique!
At 3:43 you Can see a black police land cruiser behind the bus. What a pity it wasn’t included better in this video.
Yes, but unfortunately the Land cruiser did not have blue lights on.
[ssa0089] - EmergencyScandinavia oh that’s unfortunate
Nice catches
Nice Footage Mate

Can we get more of these in Helsinki please?
There are still restrictions on traveling to Finland...
Awesome video,Do you know a
good spot to filming in Helsinki ?
Main fire station and the streets around Meilahti hospital.
@@EmergencyScandinavia thanks
Is there a difference between "Polis" and "Poliisi?" Do they have slightly different meanings?
Poliisi is Finnish and it's meaning Police, and because Swedish is our second national language, we have in other side of police vehicle the same text but as Swedish version. Polis is Swedish and it's meaning Police
@@finnishmilitarypolice762 interesting
Blackie Foxx This is a joke, right? Every single marked police vehicle has both POLIISI and POLIS
@Blackie Foxxless TM its POLIISI and POLIS in every car.
@Blackie Foxxless TM Maybe, but usually its POLIISI, Polis
Nice
Thanks
Do you ever get any strange looks or anything when you are filming Emergency vehicles ?
I have documented emergency vehicles (photo and video) for almost 20 years now so I know how to do it without encountering any problems. And it's not very difficult because most people out on the streets nowdays are self-centered smartphone zombies who not notice any of what is happening around them.
What siren do they use in Finland
What camera so you use and how do you make those lights so bright?
Polis is swedesh and poliisi is Finnish
It’s Pronounced Swedish
👍
1:08 Miks Texasin lippu?
Chilen ja se on ravintola

Bruh I heard Hong Kong siren from distance
Why many people wear this white headgear? Not only at night, also on day.
Bitchute is better They are Graduated High Scool students. Because these have filmed on 1st of May all new and old ones are allowed to use the Student Cap.
It's a graduation hat which is worn on "Vappu" which is a celebration taking place every year 1st of may, which is when these clips were recorded

Not very colorful cars if you compare to other Nordic countries. I guess vehicle visibility and conspicuity is not a thing in Finland?
Most of the police cars in this video were with the older design, for a few years now there have been added some neon texture aswell. But you are right, when comparing for example to Swedish and British or even recent Estonian police cars, the colouring is very mild and you can't recognize the cars from the distance, especially from the front. 🌚 Ambulances and firetrucks generally are much more visible but there are some differences with those too, since nearly every region has their own designs and textures.
I heard an explanation that colorful police vehicles would actually danger the police safety by making them a target for criminals. Which I think is a BS explanation.
@@viadia3186 I heard a similar explanation. In that case the British and Swedish police should be in a continuous danger.
But I’ve heard that safety has actually increased after the high-visibility markings were introduced.
Via Dia Yes. They used the explanation when people questioned the US unmarked police vehicles. It makes sense there, as there is a lot more violence directly aimed towards the police.
The last police car at 0:20 is with the new desing. Most of the Finnish police cars actually look like that now but helsinki still has those ”older” cars because their average mileage per vehicle is a lot lower. The plan was that all of the police cars would have the new livery By 2020 but they had some issues in the car deliveries. Also, our dumb goverment decided to lower the police fundings.
