      It's an CSI Unit. Seems like it's not from Helsinki because Helsinki's CSI uses VW Transporters

      @Blackie Foxxless TM It is not illegal, there is no law prohibiting it.
      Not using wail is just an internal protocol in the police departments.

    • @finnishmilitarypolice762

      Poliisi is Finnish and it's meaning Police, and because Swedish is our second national language, we have in other side of police vehicle the same text but as Swedish version. Polis is Swedish and it's meaning Police

      I have documented emergency vehicles (photo and video) for almost 20 years now so I know how to do it without encountering any problems. And it's not very difficult because most people out on the streets nowdays are self-centered smartphone zombies who not notice any of what is happening around them.

    Not very colorful cars if you compare to other Nordic countries. I guess vehicle visibility and conspicuity is not a thing in Finland?

    • @Mmoukarii
      @Mmoukarii 5 років тому +7

      Most of the police cars in this video were with the older design, for a few years now there have been added some neon texture aswell. But you are right, when comparing for example to Swedish and British or even recent Estonian police cars, the colouring is very mild and you can't recognize the cars from the distance, especially from the front. 🌚 Ambulances and firetrucks generally are much more visible but there are some differences with those too, since nearly every region has their own designs and textures.

    • @viadia3186
      @viadia3186 5 років тому +4

      I heard an explanation that colorful police vehicles would actually danger the police safety by making them a target for criminals. Which I think is a BS explanation.

    • @274727
      @274727 5 років тому +2

      @@viadia3186 I heard a similar explanation. In that case the British and Swedish police should be in a continuous danger.
      But I’ve heard that safety has actually increased after the high-visibility markings were introduced.

    • @OttoTheKari
      @OttoTheKari 5 років тому +2

      Via Dia Yes. They used the explanation when people questioned the US unmarked police vehicles. It makes sense there, as there is a lot more violence directly aimed towards the police.

    • @blinder2786
      @blinder2786 5 років тому +2

      The last police car at 0:20 is with the new desing. Most of the Finnish police cars actually look like that now but helsinki still has those ”older” cars because their average mileage per vehicle is a lot lower. The plan was that all of the police cars would have the new livery By 2020 but they had some issues in the car deliveries. Also, our dumb goverment decided to lower the police fundings.
