What was that at 38:30 with Kupets' Floor?! Looked like she stumbled out of the turn and "fell" into a handstand. No comment on it and I don't see anyone saying anything here. Am I missing something?
Looking closely, I can see this was not the best routine I've seen Chellsie do on bars. She missed a few handstands which were definite deductions during this quad. It also appears she missed the handstand right before her dismount that came fr the jam... But yeah 9.175 is harsh.
26:53 she’s quite sloppy, must be her leg injury? She’s obviously good enough to be at this level but I didn’t see any of what Elfi said, great form and international look, didn’t see it here anyway
I think it is indeed meant to be a 2.5 turn since that is what is named after her in the Code of Points. The triple wolf is named after Lauren Mitchell
Pretty dumb that it became so much about difficulty after 2000 everyone was injured even more than before and rare to see beautiful form the girls had in decade before
Love watching Chellsie on here and seeing her training for Tokyo 2021.
Right!?
The coverage was great in 2003, so many routines shown!
uwoeric always on day 1 the have more time
"There can be only one national champion each year" *goes on to tie as co-champion the following year*
And in 1997 😂
You know this is from years ago when they are playing Barbie Girl (during Hollie Vise's beam routine
Finally- a broadcast from this era where Tim doesn't say much. Him with no voice makes for much better listening.
It's better cause AL wasn't there. Poor dude.
awww Lil Sacramone in the back behind kupets after her beam
Lmao that opening fluff, especially Tasha
Hollie Vise, wow such a beautiful Gymnast. Unfortunate some of the best and most potential were held back by injuries 🤦♂️
The back injury really did a number unfortunately.

Firstly the time stamp is actually 38:43 and secondly it was a part of her choreo
So sick of Elfi’s constant talk about “international judges.”
Virginia was pumping out a lot of elite gymnasts in the early 2000s
Tricase definitely showed vast improvement on bars- very nice dismount !
Why was her score so low though?? She did three release moves! Two in a row. I thought it would get a good score
@@traciejimenez2589 She had a few form breaks, from the over arch on the first handstand to having bent arms on two of her release moves.
Tasha’s eye brows have me dead.
Very early 2000s. I’m guilty of having those super thin brows back in those days. I cringe looking back at pictures 😝
Eu só reparei nisso 😂😂😂😂
Omg Tasha in the beginning with her put on dramatic face- so forced and ridiculous!
Who produced this??
😂
Lmao cringeworthy, looked like she wanted to kill someone 😂
how did Chellsie Memmel score a tenth lower on bars than Annia Hatch?!
The sport was super political back then. Nobody had heard of Memmel before Nationals. Hatch was a sentimental figure with her whole story.
I know, that is a freaking joke. Hatch outscoring Memmel on bars, LOL!
It really makes be question the validity of this sport to be honest 😕

Ashley Postell's sequence on beam is so interesting! Quarter twist to handstand to immediate bhs stepout! Love it
Double Arabian Punch Layout that's what won her medal at worlds
It’s known as a backhand spring 1/1
Courtney Kupets floor was amazing
What a great tumbler Tia Orlando is nice set
this is the third year Tasha S used same floor routine...is that strange?
Chellsie’s Popa on beam is awesome
love Hollie's Ono to Jaegar- gorgeous!
this was made a day before my birthday
These hairstyles are clutch.
You guys must all be tired by the intro

I saw it more on Beam than on Floor.
At first I thought, why is Elfi talking more than tim...aha, he's almost mute!!! Couldn't otherwise keep him quiet. All aside I like him.
Did it not matter that terrine Humphrey touched the bar in the middle of her triple twist wolfturn-like move?
I think it is indeed meant to be a 2.5 turn since that is what is named after her in the Code of Points. The triple wolf is named after Lauren Mitchell
baby chellsie 🥺
im suprised that tasha didn't get her shoulder teared on bars
Where's Carly Patterson?
fractured elbow
Vice's ono was extremely late. Would've been 5 tenths in today's code
Is Tim Dagget sick here or something?
+Kae Kae Jones yes he has laryngitis.
yes
yeah in the head
Pretty dumb that it became so much about difficulty after 2000 everyone was injured even more than before and rare to see beautiful form the girls had in decade before
i’ve been saying this all this difficulty has taken the artistry out of artistic gymnastics
