Love you stuff. My Aunt used to work at the Clinic in Miami that the Watergate Bumblers used to use to meet to plan their CREEP funded dirty tricks. The wife of one of them was a coworker and as a young teen I met two of the burglers. Now what I learned is this they were the least likely village idiots that I would ever hire to do what they were doing as hired by the failed CIA rejects (Howard Hunt MaCord and Bernard Barker and let's not forget former FBI reject Gordon Liddy). Understand this about Nixon and the IRS and his enemies list. Most on the liust were indeed evading their taxes due ESPECIALLY ANDY WORMHOLE who was as Catholic as they came. Nixon wrotye that letter and when you listen to the White House tapes Warhole never is someone that gets mentioned. He was not that important. Everyone in the elite NYC art world hated Nixon and most evaded and avoided paying taxes. Reality once you meet it in person kind of sets you straight. Andy if I recall had a seamy relationship with Roy Cohen and i would not be surpriced if that is why he was really audited since the IRS had it in for Roy who deserved every audit he got since he was a master at helping many evade paying their taxes. Now if you think I say this as some fan of the IRS or taxes you would be wrong. I have been audited and been forced to pay taxes I do not owe. I also believe that we should get rid of the IRS and the icome tax and replace it with a VAT tax and a corporate tax levied upon Wall Street and the superich wh never pay taxes. So as far as that piece of Political Art by Warhol it helped Nixon get elected if anything since in those days Andy was nit thought of some great artist but as some NYC deviant fetishist who made the tragic seem banal and the banal as Iconic. Hell Leroy Neiman did more for sports than Andy did for Art. God is dead and so is Andy may karma now do the same for Putin Trump and all the super greedy rich evil stupid motherf**kers who always want more and more and more leaving little for the rest of us. What Andy did to Basquait is just as bad what Picasso did to his women. It is too bad museums doo not sell their Warhols and Picassos and then take the proceeds to commision better art by the many artists out there living paycheck to paycheck and hand to mouth. And by the way I voted for Obama but that famous warholian poster of him made me poke. Too bad Basquait was nt around to come up with something way cooler and turning out the young voters. Imagine bama or Biden with a three pointed crown or with Basquait like dreadlocks. Hell I would vote for Obama in three differents states if I had seen that.
