I was following Mohamed's intelligent response to the interview and felt he spoke great with the point on the situation with living overseas, just until he mentioned "the mindset" of Nigerians as the drawback to them contributing back to their country. At that point, I would disagree for sure, knowing that most who had travelled didn't have families or fathers as wealthy as his to buy up or acquire pieces of lands. Like he mentioned, nothing that's been made as profit from the resort has ever been used or touched but rightly re-invested back to the business, showing his family must and does surely have other source/sources of income plus he was schooled in London as well. Most other Nigerians are still busy trying to even build a home in their community for their families or parents from the job they're working abroad. Others are sacrificing to train their siblings, even as others have decided to totally move out their families from Nigeria due to the harsh conditions they know they're in. Well, obviously, there are a lot of factors I could point out on here but for the time, I am unable to do so. All, the same, it's commendable to know such a beautiful project does exist currently in Kano and Nigeria. It is one we should all be proud of for sure as a progressive people.
Very well said.
I understand your point, but if all the rich people in Nigeria were investing in Nigeria, it would be a different place. At least his family is creating jobs for the local community and reinvesting their profits. Note, they have a choice to utilise the profit as they deem fit but they opt not to. Its a choice, not because they're wealthy but its a sacrifice to accomplish a vision
Well said. You hit all the high points.
And despite everything, Nigerians, will support a good thing when they see one.
@@bukolalawal7935 Everything you said was right and I can't agree more. However, while you're focusing on the rich people, my argument was rather based on the poor Nigerians who had to travel out to earn a living and who haven't been able to do the same thing as the interview guest (Mohammed) is currently doing. So, I am saying that most of the struggling, poor Nigerians haven't the resources or opportunities he's had; and even when they make as much money, they are mostly weighed down by the constant pressures from family and siblings alike. All the same, we'd praying and hoping that more people would be inspired by his endeavours to begin doing even just a little, as it is ofcourse, one step at a time...lol

usman ibrahim what mindset are you guys talking about
If the Nigerians that jump to Dubai come to this place, spend money here the people will be employed and security challenge will reduce
Wode Maya all I can ever offer your are my words of prayers.🙏🙏
Amen!Continue praying for me
@@WODEMAYA Definitely bro,you are amazing

See, the Westerners will never comment on this video! But if it was a bunch of starving kids you could see lots of comments! That's how they view Africa. Let them know we are not in the stone age era. Big up Wode!
It’s not our fault our media is saturated with that psychopathic narrative, they play on our emotions for its human instinct to want to help when we see those in need. It’s great this young man is doing his part to change this mindset and set new standards.
NOT ALL WEST WATCH TV HERE.... WE ASK PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE EVEN HERE IN US
@WODE MAYA@ THAT WAS A #BEAUTIFUL INTERVIEW WITH #MOHAMED M.#NAKUDU,IN THE NORTHERN STATE OF KANO NIGERIA...HE IS VERY HUMBLE AND DOWN TO EARTH,,,BUT VERY CLEAR EYES ABOUT HIS DESTINY..HE IS FULL OF CONFIDENCE,AND HE EMBRACES HIS NIGERIAN CULTURE...VERY IMPRESSIVE INTERVIEW #WODE #MAYA...THANKS FOR ANOTHER GREAT AFRICAN ENTREPRENEUR DISCOVERY..#BLESSINGS #WODE #MAYA...!!!

How you sing Nigeria’s national anthem like no man’s business is fascinating. Weldone. And congratulations to your friend. Let’s continue getting all the juice.
Yes, he did sang it well
What's up? Hope u doing well. God bless you
His is singing it is fake,. They destroyed the Nigerian embassy in Ghana recently. Do you know the implications of that and the repercussions for it?

Wow I cannot believe how Africa is changing from when I was there 60 years ago and a lot off it was ruled by colonialists keep up the good work unify and you may surpass China
This is another part of Nigeria that people don't know about but is being shown to the world by no other person but Wode. Most Nigeria throws their energies into negatives, calling Northerners all kinds of negative names that nothing good can come out of the North. Well those people can see with their own eyes what u can achieve when u come together. The Southern Nigerians under estimates what the northerners are capable of and you do so at your peril. I always canvass for one Nigeria but fellow Nigerians, Igbos and Yorubas always castigate me. This is beautiful, just look at that and that's in a state in the Northern part of Nigeria. Gosh! That country is so Blessed. Something new comes out of that country every day.
I'm a Southerner from Edo state, and I absolutely love the people in the north! Before I used to have negative judgement about the northerners, calling them backward, dangerous, poor and oppressive. I wanted Nigeria to split into south and north, thinking that the north was the one holding Nigeria from progressing. But since last year 2020 (especially during the end sars protests), I remembered that the northerners are suffering as much as we in the south. Northerners are also victims to the current corrupt government just like southerners. The only ones benefiting from the corrupt system are the elite, both in the north and south and outside Nigeria. Since then I've come to recognise the north as one with the south. The south needs the north (agriculture and industries), while the north needs the south (business hubs, entertainment industry and technology). I believe in one Nigeria. You are right, Nigeria has soooo much potential.
Mohamed M Nakudu.......you are the sort of Son a father/Mother will be proud of, well done! Good job!. Wode......more blessings to you.
I been to Kano few times and Mhen Kano dope! Kano is a very beautiful city
Nice resort. It is only a Ghanaian UA-camr called Wode Maya that can SHOWCASE the BEAUTY of Nigeria
Nigeria UA-camrs busy showing their houses/apartments and cars. 😁😁😁
Kudos to Wode Maya! But I'm guessing you haven't seen any of Tayo Aina 's videos.
You are wrong. It is only in Ghana they destroyed the Nigerian embassy. The whole world has not forgotten about it.
@@asitis4661Try and be Sensible and NOT Senseless. What is a resort in Northern Nigeria got to do with a Nigerian Embassy?

"An African Family....."
Beautiful 🥰💞
This’s just beautiful!
Feeling happy to see our African Nigerian brothers making their dreams into reality.. Thereby contributing to their African communities grow up with dignity, respect and compete with the world as equals.
Welcome back. Your guest shocked me when he said “the whole world went to Dubai in the month of December.” Imagine that. I can guarantee you that a significant percentage of those visitors were Africans or of African descent. Information is power. Hopefully this video will reach some of them and show them that there are better options available on the continent. Why go to Dubai and waste all that money when you can have a similar (or far better) experience right here on the African Continental for A FRACTION OF THE COSTS ?
People will go for holidays outside Africa not because they don't know that African has a lot of beautiful places to visit but, because they have inferiority complex or like to show off. Some people believe that western world is way better than African world. They like telling people that they bought something abroad or just came back from holiday abroad. Tell me, how can our economy grow if you don't support yours? What they don't know is that Westerners make so much money off us and they enjoy coming over so people can never be grateful of something except they suffer to get it.
Nigeria needs to improve on security otherwise people will be scared to travel round the country
THEY KEEP TAKING CASH TO DUBAI THEY WILL OWN IT NEXT ( BUY/ BUILD/ GROW/ JOIN FORCES/ SUPPORT/APPRECIATE- HOME)
This son is smart and will grow the family business very well
This is really cool! Everyone has something to do. What an idea!

This is awesome and amazing at the same time... Great video
Loved the conversation with the owner. It’s not just Nigerians but the entire continent and its diaspora who needs to change our mindset. We are stronger when we unit and support each other. Great video Mr Ghana.
Congratulations. What a cool resort! Keep it going!
That point is very valid! "We don't appreciate what we have".
However, this is a very thin line. I know for a fact that Nigerians are very passionate about Nigeria and our anger/unmoved attitude usually stems from the pain of its under-fulfillment and not necessarily unpatriotism.
Our leaders and elites set a trend of romanticizing everything foreign, they also do not love and respect the citizens whom they lead, hence the middle class aspires and ends up doing the same so it becomes a cycle. It takes having a good leader with a fresh perspective to change everything. Think about our music, it didn't use to be cool to proudly associate or vibe to them some 25 years ago, now all we want to listen to is African music. It will take some time, but we will get there.
The first sign of this happening is when we have a leader who can bring the whole of Nigeria together, and we no longer play divisive politics. Imagine if our president could go on vacation in Southern Nigeria, tour private resorts, patronize private hotels, meet with local communities and so on, governors and billionaire kids exploring food, culture and commerce outside their geo, within Nigeria, these are very easy things to achieve and that's all it takes to influence the rest of Nigeria.
I am from the east and never been to west africa. Thanks maya for opening our eyes hope to visit someday. Changing mind set is what all africa needs not just Nigerian.
Please allow me to post this on ‘Kano Chronicle’ a one-stop Twitter page to learn about Kano and its history.
You can also check the page to learn more about some exciting places to visit. It is the oldest city in West Africa and one of the 3 most important trans-Saharan trade points for over 400 years.
Welcome to the center of Commerce, Mining and Agriculture once again.

Talk about Nigeria to the world. These are Nigerians doing well in their country. The rest of Africans are hostile to Nigeria. The truth is, if Nigeria shows hostility to them too, it will be too bad for them.
This is lovely. Never ever knew we have a place like this in Nigeria.
there are a quite a lot of ressorts scattered arround but this one is unique...its like a fantasy land...
