Welcome to another Q&A video! In this one I answer a whopping 23 questions about why I quit my job to be self employed, how I've gone with healing my burn out, how I'm finding post 9-5 life and more!
Initially, I was just going to make a video chatting generally about what it's been like since I quit my job, and possibly answer a few FAQs at the end, but I put a call out on Instagram and received SO MANY insightful, lovely questions. So I figured, why not just turn this into a Q&A instead!

I'm one of those movers and shakers that takes off on road trips with an hour notice, builds another company for a season, and dives into things that I don't know how to do, because why not.? And my adrenaline BURNS while I'm on...but then I smack into a wall. As I've aged, and professionals have had words like "adrenal fatigue" and such...I've finally recognized what had been happening with my highs and lows for the last 40 years.
Take care of yourself as you recover, because if you don't, you'll be fighting it your whole life long.
I'm 51 and still figuring it all out.
Thank you for talking about burnout!! I got burnt out at the latter half of 2020 and it took me the entirety of 2021 to get somewhat back to “normal”, it takes time and we need to allow it TO take time!❤️

I suffered with severe burnout (nhs doctor) & quit my job. I was working my notice period when the pandemic started, and so of course I stayed and I'm still there, and mainly recovered. Your channel & other booktube channels have really helped in my recovery.
One thing about money - my husband is an insurance broker so I know a bit about this. Did you know you can get income protection policies? Rather than save up a year's wages (sooo hard) you can have insurance so that if you can't work due to health, the policy pays you a monthly wage according to the terms you set. Just a thought in case you were unaware x

I loved when you talked about "taking" the productivity from the next day I relate to that so much! I also WFH and any time I work late into the evening its always ALWAYS so difficult to muster up any energy to work the next day, and by the end of the week my productivity is just totally used up no matter how badly I want to get more done. I'm glad you're starting to get in the groove of working at home healthily~!

That was my attitude, too.
I don't think what she said about UA-cam paying well or not, is true, mainly because I know of many people in my hometown who are earning enough to support themselves. I mean they can earn enough to support themselves without the need for an additional job, which allows them to spend quality time with their family as well as friends and have time to focus on things that often go neglected such as mental health. I am honestly so glad that our nation as a developing world is now getting aware of the fruits the internet can bring, including a content writer such as myself.
In UA-cam analytics, I can see how high the CPM is for each country that watches my channel. I have no idea where you live, but it just tends to be the case that where people have less disposable income, UA-camrs earn less from those people. Some countries have higher living costs than others, so 'UA-cam paying well' is all relative bc of Price Power Parity. I just wanted to bring up the differences in CPM earned per country and why 'UA-cam paying well' is so contextual bc I never see it get talked about. Take care 😊
