Ethernet is the most reliable and best way of getting maximum performance from your broadband set up. I've just quit Sky for Virgin and routed ethernet cables through the house and the difference is amazing.
What a silly thing to say. Who uses ethernet?! My new build house has ethernet throughout. Also best performance from Sky Q STB to Sky Q mini is always going to be the most reliable via ethernet. Also the Sky Q Mini will act as a mesh ap and if it's connected via cable you're going to get better wifi performance around the house.
Just got mine think sky have now got rid of the plastic cause of the environment least less rubbish I don,t miss that just now got to wait for the sky q box to come in September
I had engineer visit today bcuz my broadband and phone were down. Now broadband and phone work but no dial tone on phone. I can make calls and also receive incoming calls but when I pick up the receiver to make call I can't hear the dial tone... what to do?
Thanks for this Sir, I see a lot of negative comments here, and almost as many thumb downs as thumb ups, I for one am very grateful for this video, not all of us are tech minded, it's good to see someone explain it in clear and simple terms. I got my Sky Hub box yesterday and wasn't sure if I had to wait for the engineer to set it up alongside the SkyQ box that I'm due to get in a few weeks. Clearly, I can set this hub up myself. Thanks 'UK Coin Hunter' for the video. Much appreciated my friend. Thumb up from me :-)
@@StephenReidsaintofweatherfield Thanks for your reply Arif Ali, I have cancelled it still I got charged And Iam not using their service because I got another service.
And mate your internet dropping isn't due to a microfilter, it's because you chose a shite isp
I tottaly understand that people mainly use wireless nowadays but some people do actually use ethernet
