    The power of Deep Impact (Sunday Silence x Wind In Her Hair) was evident, with a number of his progeny fetching big money.

    Deep Impact is one of the most famous Japanese racehorses of all time thanks to his deeds on the racetrack and as a stallion after racing.
    The son of Sunday Silence won seven Grade Ones.
    Legendary Japanese jockey Yutaka Take developed a formidable partnership with Deep Impact throughout his career.
    Standing at Shadai Stallion Station in Hokkaido, Deep Impact has made a name for himself as a champion sire, with 2529 winners and 45 individual Grade One winners.
    His most notable progeny are Dubai Sheema Classic winner Gentildonna, Dubai Turf hero Vivlos and 2,000 Guineas victor Saxon Warrior.
    Gone but never forgotten, Deep Impact's legacy will live on for many years to come through his progeny.
