I am using Haven Kendrick's Soundpack! Download it here: / haven_kendrick . To install, simply locate your Mechwarrior Online installation folder, open "Game" and you will see lots of .pak files. Drop the sound mod file into that folder with the other .pak files, restart the client, and you are good to go!

Thanks so much Baradul I've learned so much watching you for a while that I recently managed a 720dmg 4kill with my bj1-dc 6pulse build, getting a postive rating even though we lost.
Can't you do the same thing with Triple AMS? I think you need to drop 1 ERML but you can still use 5 ERML, 3 AMS and ECM with enough cooling and ammo for the AMS to help your team.
Dont worry, my kitfox only has an ultra ac10
This is the build I have used ever since the Purifier came out. It is amazing those less so since the ERML cooldown nerf.

It's funny to see Baradul bring out the Kit Fox, because I have just been watching a UA-camr (Farseer) preforming a Kit Fox only let's play of MechWarrior 2.
The Kit Fox is real popular as of late.
NOOOO, you stole my secret weapon :D I regularly make 3-4 kills in it. And of course, because of the C-Bill bonus, this is my favorite for hunting C-Bills.
The only difference is that I shave off some armor from the arms and use the jumpjet legs instead with some JJ nodes unlocked. The heat is still very managable, but survivability goes way up. Those rocket legs get you out of harms way like you don't believe.
Yeah, it is an excellent and very underestimated mech.
What the hell kit fox has 6 energy slots?
How did you manage to build this? There are no energy omnipods available for the torso on this mech.

@@AdamSternberg with MC events one after another for at least two years now it is easy to buy all the hero mechs you want.
In addition to that, 80% of hero mechs are meh. Some hero mechs are the worst variants of the chassis. There are select few hero mechs that are in fact the best or offer something useful compared to non-hero ones: Purifier, Grinner, TDK, K9, Pakhet, IV, Top Dog, Sleipnir. Most of the time you can duplicate the exact same build on different chassis. Like Quickdraw IV-Four is an excellent mech, but you can get its famous MRM build on Catapult (and most people don't know that on Catapult it is just as good). There were unique hero mechs that could not be really replicated using anything (like Pirate's Bane), but some of these were niche in the first place and almost all of these can now be copied using newer non-hero mechs.

I got a mist lynx to do 50 laser damage on alpha strike without overheating. It was my little tool of destruction. I would go around backstabbing people and getting instakills, all while having a speed of 113 kph.
My favorite build is 6 er small lasers 2 heavy machine guns ecm and 3 ams and jump jets
But where do you put the heat sinks?
Throw icy water in your cockpit
One in the right side torso and one in the right arm and 3 tons of ams ammo and one ton of heavy machine gun ammo
You have to remove the arm actuators on the right arm to make room and since your right arm has no weapons you don’t need them
I've been playing the the the kit fox g (L) like crazy lately two srm6s with arti and 3 tons ammo. two heavy med lasers, ecm, beagle, and targeting Mk 2. One double heat sink. Heat is at 1.52. I think this mech is my spirit animal!

I tend to go full Purifier with 2 Heavy Meds, 2 Pulse Meds, and some Light MGs when I want to play the Laser Fox game.

The Purifier is the only light that I like lol
The KFX with purifier torsos has always worked when there are hills to hump. The mounts are as high as possible and the ECM prevents them from aiming at you prior unless you sit under a UAV.
