Hi, Z3N. Wow, you really made it...!! It is really a long video, but for FM enthusiast, it is worth watching...!! I could enjoy this video not only as S2 to FM build, but as an introduction of contemporary Mini 4WD modification, such as long tail stabilizer. Thank you for posting your master-piece, Z3N!!
Ss Nakanex Hi Nex. Thank you for the kind words. The goal was to also allow future viewers to be able to go to this video and use it as reference in case they need to. I know I watch other people's videos and use them as reference too. Hopefully this becomes a good reference video that will become easily searchable in UA-cam. As far as I know, I'm the only one that has so far used links to make it easier for people to look for specific build sections.
+Z3N Bluster Yeah, right~ As far as I concern, there may be no one posted a full build of S2 FM instruction video in English! You definitly did a significant thing! Via internet, there must be some one in the world may get influenced on your video!! Currently in Japan, 3rd boom of MINI4WD is on its peak!! Comparing to last year′s Japan Cup, the venue was full of people, mainly with adult racers who experienced 1st or 2nd boom. (“Dash! Yonkuro“ or “Let′s & Go“) What really interesting thing of this 3rd boom in Japan is, some Japanese racers began to aware that there is MINI4WD culture outside of Japan. So MINI4WD has a potential of becoming world wide hobby, especially for people in Asia-Pacific region. So…, like you said, your video may have a potential chance of raising furture racers in somewhere. Anyway with or without video, please keep enjoying MINI4WD in So-Cal !! If there is some cutting edge info of Japan, I will tell you via comment. (or via Jon or Sho-sho.) Thank you & BR.
4 yrs too late, but I'd like to know this type of setup is mainly for what track/race? I did a fmar already. Thinking to make fms2 now (probably lighter than my fmar)
hi jan. i tried putting the batts the other way around but the motor doesnt turn on. i tried checking the terminals and made sure all the contacts are connected, still doesn't work. sny idea how to fix it? i used my motor the way it should be placed. does it affect how the motor spins?
hai john. Can you make a video for FM chassis. Full build. Can you share the regulation for brake sloop and or just sloop race. Can you share the dimension too (From indonesia - Im working on it)
thank you for this video, I have a question. Is it safe to use the same motor for s2 non fm and for s2fm? or should I have a dedicated motor to be used for reverse polarity?
hi Zen, nice video and very informative. can you do some build for FMAR? I have tried to build some FMAR but it was failed in back FRP haha thank you Zen, love your works and I already subscribe you :D
Hello I'm Ashraf from Morocco I love racing small cars but I do not have it in my country. I want to get it. How can I get it? Please help me. Please, I want to open a club for small cars.
Michael Knight Yes Michael Knight people would love to race against Kitt, LOL. Anyway, if you're in Southern California there are a few places that host races. DXN Provisions, Ultimate Hobbies, PCHobbies, and The Dojo (they're only open on Sundays because it's actually a Taekwondo Dojo) If you're not from around here, then you'll have to check your local organizers.
+Norbert Joseph Dimaano Try to find Lil's Hobby Center (you can search their page in FB). Try going to SM Megamall and Glorietta, and I don't know if they also own the hobby store here in Malate, which is located in Harrison Plaza.

Same tracks as your FMAR. Except it will corner more quickly.

Yes, to fix it. Watch the section of the video that shows how to cut the inside of the chassis for the fitment of batteries.
is it possible to cut everything without using grinder? i only have wire cutters with me

can you make a set up for super x chasis? because i wwant to have a good set up for my max breaker with super x chasis :)

I honestly don't know for sure. The only way to find out is to run a test and I don't have the time to do that.
Hello Z3N, have you ever tried to build an AR-FM? If yes, have you noticed big differences compared to SFM?
Not yet, I'm actually going to work on building that next.
Thanks for the answer, I can't wait to see your next car!
Hi Zen, my FMS2 sometimes turns off in jumps. any way to fix that?
Check your switch. Something is worn out there.

where can I buy tamiya in the Philippines because I am a Filipino 10 years old buyer of tamiya please reply
I don't know. I currently live in the United States, not the Philippines. You will have to ask other racers there.
