- Noted as one of Africa’s most popular bands, L’Orchestre Afrisa International performs its signature Congolese African rumba soukous music. Presented in collaboration with the Richmond Folk Festival.
There is NOTHING like good soukous and this band nails it!
Nseka is really one of My favorite soloists . Huit kilos is THE guitarist. I like his feeling.
Is it possible you translate for me the song Ibrahim by late Pascal Immanuel Tabu Ley
That is Huit Kilos on the lead guitar!
And I think I've spotted Madoka on the mi-solo guitar. What a marvelous team!
--Edit I've mistaken the bassist Ngouma Lokito for Caen Madoka.
A wonderful, wonderful team. Afrisa international had so many great hits. Couldn't they pick out only the best and put out there?????
Oh Yeah! The spirit of Tabu Ley lives on!

I can see Modero Mekanisi on sax, Nzeka Huit Kilo on Solo guitar, Ngouma Lokito a la bass, Dodo Munoko (R.I.P) and Wawali Bonane on vocals but I am afraid I can't positively identity the men on drums, Congas, Maracas and Rythm guitar.
