We have to talk about the stigma that has followed Ballet & Ballroom for a very long time. Recent remark from GMA's anchor - Lara Spencer, on Prince George's liking of Ballet reconfirmed that there's still a disbelieve in necessity of dance education for young children, especially boys. It's time we shift that mindset!

I really think this could also apply to grownups too...not just children. I know many adults who were able to come out of their shells once they started ballroom dancing.

*I wonder if people are too mad at Laura (the GMA host.) I will say it seems to me that people are laughing b/c it’s dancing, and I assume they would’ve laughed less if he was a girl. BUT, Laura’s statement was about George quitting dance b/c he would rather his play time be more like playing around with simple things like Play-Doh.*
*Laura’s words:* _We’ll see how long that lasts. [Laughter]. I mean, he might, he might. But between the religious studies and computer programming, I just want to go back to the Play-Doh._
Anyway, that’s just my two cents from what I’ve seen.
