Just wanted to thank you guys for hooking me up with a NM copy of Yoshi's Island CIB on SNES which I bought from you guys Feb 4. I offered $230 when you were listing 270 and you immediately accepted my offer. Thanks a lot you guys. I will cherish this in my collection for many years and maybe it will be worth a nice chunk of money in a decade or 2 from now when I grade and sell it
I hear what you’re saying about WATA “improving” but the damage was done so whenever I see WATA on sealed games I simply pass. That could change in the coming years but that’s just how it is so for me I only consider VGA
Yeah, a lot of people seem to forget that WATA reputation is almost only hype since they're so young and them f'in up so bad kinda voids their credibility for me. VGA still needs improvement too though that's a fact.
They're waiting to get a similar game to yours in better condition to swap if yours is in better and will send you their trade off and give you a lower grading, thus keeping the higher tier one to inflate their grading value! What a charm!
You guys do such great work with your UA-cam channels. Keep up the great work, and I know you'll see a boom in viewers in the months to come. This is one of the best-produced game hunting/resale channels that I've seen.
Those RFID security stickers can be a pain to remove from cellophane. I have a few mothods depending on the type of seal. Ilk start by puling off all of the sticky "wire tape", then if the game doesn't have vent holes in the plastic I'll carefully use Goo Gone. If the plastic has the vent holes, I will obviously not use Goo Gone since it would soak and stain the cardboard. So I came up with a method that works well about 90% of the time, but can be time consuming, and if you're not careful, it can rip the seal. I'll use plastic packaging tape. I personally find Duck brand clear tape to yield the best results. I take a strip of tape and stick it to the sticker residue, then quickly pull it off. It generally takes it off layer by layer. Like I said it can be time consuming! Good luck, and use this technique at your own risk. Maybe practice on a cheap game. :)
No doubt when they say always packing they are the best at it also. I bought a game on what not from them and the packaging couldn’t have been more professional!
Thanks for showing the sucky side of grading games. Finding sealed is certainly the first step, but the grading process is expensive, often lengthy and there's a strong likelihood of getting a low grade.
Love the deep dive on how things are done, I’m in the back log would you (if you haven’t already) consider going through how you use Accellorlist (not sure if that’s correct lol) and how you use that with Amazon? God bless Chase and Skyler!!
I like how you guys share the camera and get both perspectives of what is going on with the business. My question is Do you need to be ungated to sell video games and accessories on Amazon? Thanks
I sent in sealed Windwaker HD for Wii U to Wata on 08/06/2021 and it still has not shipped back to me yet. I paid for the second highest speed which should’ve had it done by October, maybe November at absolute latest. My order is only 1 game I don’t understand why it’s taking so long :(
Chase I would recommend you not send any games to get graded unless you assume they would sell for 50% of graded comps today. You are a young dude and we are about to hit a wall with collectibles like in 2008 when the sht hit the fan. I would recommend you just sell through what you have now raw and not gamble with getting graded games back to resell 6 months from now.
I think the whole WATA/Heritage thing was blown out of proportion. Those two companies have worked in tandem since the beginning, so I don't know why everyone made a stink about them all at once. My only complaint is their turnaround time "estimates". Currently @ 80 business days for my speed run order which is supposed to be 45 business days...bartlenotdo
the problem people had was wata paying people to buy their own listings to inflate the price. they turned 1000 games into 12000 games. just by "buying" a few copies of that game for an increase each time.
Ik it might not be worth the risk in some cases. But removing the sticker residue with goo gone or something before sending it in on some cases? They dont want to risk it but you could possibly risk it at home?
I saw a post in a facebook group where a guys sticker sealed games he sent in, had their stickers cut by the mail to check them for ill assume drugs and other illegal things. Sucks.
They are still a good company. But compared to the excellent online submission system of wata, it is rough. There is also no online trail of the games anywhere. They are working on this… and I hope these things come very soon. But at the end of the day, their holders are nice and their grades are consistent, so I still enjoy using them for certain games and systems. But watas grading scale being out of 10 AND having a separate seal rating is also a pretty big advantage to them. It is easier to understand and makes more sense to the average collector or sophisticated investor
@@catrpcrew Sophisticated collectors know 9.6 A+ is a glorified 85. You get an email when your games are received, invoiced, and ready. It’s fine to use wata… just don’t bad mouth vga as a reason to go with wata to not look bad for your audience that many think they are a scam because of a click bait video.

Look forward to seeing your return to the barn 🥰
I like these types of videos. Makes it feel more real if that makes any sense
For sure, it's a lot of fun to make them
I paid for the 45 day Wata turnaround, it's now day 110, and I haven't received the games yet. So expect a wait!

Its unfortunate that Wata does not have stronger competitors
Thanks chase and crew for the second channel!!!!!!😀🕹
Good vie. It is nice seeing the breakdown after seeing all the pieces thru y'all
WATA has had my sealed Zelda for 8 months now and I paid for the fast service. They just keep making excuses.
Same brother.. 1 single zelda game. Paid for 35 days. Been over 240 now. No email back No call back.

Went over to and subscribed to the Hunting with Tripler channel. 👍😎👍😎👍😎👍😎👍😎👍😎👍

Love these videos!
loving the content and the journey!
My favorite UA-cam dudes. Great video as always.
great video guys. love seeing the day by day work.

Home run in in football terms. 😂😂
Wow awesome video
Not only did I watch the whole video. But I also watched all the ads. Don’t even need the double exp 😉
Can you send in sealed games that have very small holes or a very little tear in the seal but other wise perfect?
Goo Gone will remove all the stickers and residue easily with no effect on the shrink wrap.
CGC will be the future of grading games. They should be starting in a few months.
I’m hopeful and excited for them to enter the market! It is always good to have more options and competitors.
How / Where did you get these games?
I like how you guys share the camera and get both perspectives of what is going on with the business. My question is Do you need to be ungated to sell video games and accessories on Amazon? Thanks
Yes, we have a lot of ungating information in our Discord. There's a lot to it
Great video Brother's. Keep up Your super work 🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏💯💯💯💯💯❤📺🕹💯💯🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Zelda and goldeneye should sell well on local marketplace so you dont lose out on any
CBFD has loads of case fresh copies out there, if PS5s still go for like 1k or w/e you mightve lost on that one. pilotwings is a pretty rare game.

I sent Donkey Kong Country for SNES around the same time and it just came back last month. It'll come they are just really behind apparently
Now I really like this video... this was very interesting... must of wated it 3 times now
I sent a game to wata in September and it was supposed to take 45 days and I didn’t get it back yet , emailed them yesterday
I have that splinter cell steelbook for og xbox. Is it uncommon for xbox or just gamecube? Great video. Love your channel.
Not entirely sure! Was a cool find for sure

How is the knives investment going?
Pretty good! Update coming soon

ps, did i miss the announcement on the name change or is this a separate channel??
This is our secondary channel. It includes a deeper look into the selling side of the business

Better off using lighter fluid because it evaporates fast. Anything else risks of soaking etc.
What does CATRP Crew mean? Is that all of Chase's friends and family initials on the channel? Like Chase, Alex, ?, ?, ?

@@catrpcrew Doh. Kind of a new subscriber so.......
I actually like wata still but the grading Steve's and the turnaround times and all that bull crap is ridiculous
And this is why the top grade stuff is so valuble. When you think a game like ninja gaiden is mint, it’s really not.
Second! Amen!

Oh God
First!!! Best part of the day
1 % bartledoo!!!!
Verdict- Not worth it!
This is sad.
Wata ruined the industry for a long time. Please do not attempt to justify their actions and how they are improving. Sorry, but hard pass.
they need wata to give a 9 to a game that would normally be a 6 at best.
Vga is bad because you have to fill a form out and send it?! Come the f on.
