I do the same thing with my slicer for egg or tuna salad. The little thin slices like you did mix up just fine.
Use one all the time. You need to lay the egg on the egg shape. Make egg salad often.
they are very common here in germany, mostly metal ones. when i was a kid, i used to play with it like a guitar🙈
I think I left a comment on that video when you found your Fossil purse. Wednesday is 25% senior discount day at our Salvation Army store here in south Florida. Purses are $4.99 no matter what size! This past Wednesday was my lucky day as I purchased another leather Fossil purse for $3.75 - then I found .70 cents inside it! Now I have three leather Fossils 😁

Those books make your heart happy. I love to find things like that. In this day and time it’s so important that we share the gospel with all the children. There is so much in the world that takes their young minds places God never intended.
I like those little "Dear God" books. I have not seen them before. It looks like they have easy simple answers for children to read.
Your happiness while cutting that egg is what makes it so joyful to watch your videos. Most people would require lots of money to recognize joy!

At one of our local second hand store all the books are .10 for paperback or .15 for hard back.

I went on eBay and bought a Warren Kimball calendar. I picked out one that had a lot of pictures that I liked. Then I found thrifted frames and framed the calendar pages. I love them!
To remove stickers you can also use a hair dryer to warm the glue.

I loved the way you styled the farmhouse picture. It goes perfectly with the hutch and the baskets. I’ve seen lots of cross stitches with that style and it reminded me of those.
Loved the little books for the grandkids. Good idea to help them love the Lord through these books. Also loved the primitive picture & the cute chicken shaped egg slicer. Awesome finds!

I’ve used for eggs, berries, canned fruit, even small boiled potatoes for potato salad.
The books are a great idea for Easter “treats”, ( and no sugar!!). The house on the hill print looked great in its new spot. I recently scored an old wallpaper sample book for free at a sale, all Warren Kimball! There is just something timeless about primitive Americana!!🇺🇸

7 of the books sell on Amazon for $57 and they are used. I looked them up hoping to order a set for my grandkids. Guess I will be looking at thrift stores for the books. Thank you for introducing me to them.

I have a pampered chef egg slicer. I do my eggs like you do all the time. I slice strawberries, kiwi and grapes sometimes with it. It’s fun.

When peeling an egg, slip a wet teaspoon under the shell and slide around the egg. Easy off! You can also do strawberries.
I have used mason jars with that type of lid for my grandkids for years. Mine also has chalkboard paint labels that they can write their names on. They still use them in high school! I feel your joy when slicing that egg!

I have the old black & gold singer swing machine, but its not in a cabinet so i have it sitting on an old bench styled with some other old pieces. I absolutely love that first picture you pulled out, so cute! Definitely like the primitive looking picture too & glad you brought it home😊Looks great where you hung it! Loved the green afghan you looked at. The little egg slicer is really neat. I loved hearing you say you want your grandkids to know the lord.. we have to teach them! Hi Julie..I loved the egg slicer.. I have the egg separator in that cute brand .
I use it when I make lemon meringue pies m since the yolk goes in the pudding and the whites are for the meringue. I need to get that slicer…so cute. The picture was a steal at two dollars. I would have picked it up too. I love that you got those little books for the kids. We have two great nieces who love books for gifts. Funny, you said that about someone telling you that you don’t need something. I just this week had someone tell me in person that if I am not reselling I might be a hoarder. If you came to my house you would know I am not a hoarder.. I guess you just have to laugh. I noticed this past couple of years some people get really nasty with utubers. I appreciate you all so much. My husband goes to bed early as he is still recovering from his latest surgery and you all are my company , plus I would never write a nasty comment to anyone..it’s not in my nature. I am not sure our Salvation Army has a resell store..I guess they all do.I just don’t go downtown , unless it is our date day to go to estate sales and that is most Saturdays. Thanks Julie. ALL KIDS love the wimpy kids books- what a deal for all of those😮😮and I loved that egg slicer- much more adorable than my plain one!!
Use a hair dryer to remove stickers. It loosens the glue and makes it super easy to remove with no residue left behind.
A friend of mine does a lot of the merchandising at this Salvation Army - I think she does such a good job! Love the pieces you found - they usually have a few treasures!!! And it benefits a great organization.

You were right the first time with the egg slicer. The egg is set down along the shape of the way it is on the slicer (horizontally). Been using mine forever. I use Citra Solv orange solvent to get stickers off.
Usually do both directions for the egg. Never trieed doing it a 3rd time. Usually breaks up nicely as you stir tuna fish together.

I’ve got one of the little chicks for my eggs and that’s exactly how I use it. I’ve got problems with my hands so it makes it so much easier to. I’m able to get it to that point then easily use a fork to make smaller bits if I want to. I love mine and sure you’ll enjoy it!

using a hair dryer blower on the price stickers on items to heat them - softens the glue for MUCH easier removal...
