If you stay in any lane long enough, drama will assuredly ensue at some point. George was undoubtedly a wise student turned teacher of the game, and earned all the responsibilities he was granted along the way. Much respect to George Karl and thanks for all the memories!

Huge respect for Coach giving the ABA love. The modern NBA, and basketball as a whole, owe a huge debt to the ABA, and it's a damn shame that its history (and the legacy of its players) is being forgotten.

Great coach! Those Sonics led by Kemp and Payton and those Bucks led by He Got Game were extremely threatening teams.

i would never consider him a hall of fame coach.. his play off record is 80-105.. only making finals 1 time , no chips, with bucks he barely was over 500 or breaking even, with nuggets only made out of first round 1 time .. he was mediocre at best , had talented team a few times wich helps.. he also has a history of not getting along with players, and i never respected him after his negative comments and horrible handling of glen robinson , he had an amazing player and squandered it..
