The swatch samples appeal to me more than anything else you've done. I truly appreciate seeing how the variegated yarn works up because you have no idea what the result will be when you look at the skein. Your videos show the color dispersion and how texture created from the choice of stitch influences the appearance of the colors. Great job! Please continue the series!
I always wondered how this would look!! Ironically the baby colors were the prettiest to me but as you said… quite fuzzy for baby plus no dryer. Love this series SO MUCH!! 💜
Excellent series Thankyou , I made the mistake of buying 9 skiens of what looked beautiful , to then not like it when I started the pattern , fortunately I could return 8 of the 9 , x
The joanns app is great..there is always a deal on something. I get paper flyers in the mail and sometimes have 6 coupons..👍that particular big twist is not machine wash.I ruined a blanket that way..big twist is not my got to..I am a loyal joanns customer for sure..
It lets me see how the yarn will work in a basic stitch and then one of the stitch of the week stitches. I thank you for your time making these videos. I have learnt so much from watching you. Thank you for devoting your time to helping me crochet. It helped keep me sane the last 15 months.
I totally appreciate seeing these variegated yarns worked up in the different stitches. I tend to hesitate buying them because I don’t know how they will look. So very helpful for me.
This yarn is very pretty but I don't buy anything that can't be washed and dried because I don't want to give something to someone and then it gets ruined because they wash it dry it when it isn't supposed to be washed or dried. I do like this series. It helps me decide if I want to buy a certain yarn. I bought some Puzzle yarn after you showed it and it works up beautifully.
Thank you! I need to see a swatch to know if I like something. I’ve bought may yarns that once crocheted I didn’t care for it. I find these videos invaluable.
I especially like your swatches using TWO DIFFERENT STITCH PATTERNS for variegated and striped yarns, gives a much better idea of what it looks like made up.
I love this series look forward to it! The yarn is very beautiful but I don't like yarns with a lot of halo..I really like anti pilled and yarns that don't shed so much 🤦🏻♀️ but this is beautiful colored yarn..
Absolutely love this series & seeing with my own eyes what the yarn looks like when worked. Thank you for pointing out that fuzzy yarns are not for babies! I never would have thought about that.
Thank you Glenda for this video and series. I really have a problem with verigated yarns, too messy for me. Every video I fill with hopes that maybe this one will be different but as you said, you just see the colors. I appreciate your hard work on this videos and can't thank you enough for all the money I saved thanks to you. Have a great night.
I really love these yarn reviews and especially how you work them up in different patterns so we can see how they look. Thank you! I look forward to these videos!
I love EVERYTHING about this series. Please do more. Especially with the ICE yarns. My only request is that you show samples after they've been washed.
I really appreciate the swatches because, like you said, sometimes the yarn looks pretty in the skein, but doesn't work up quite as nice. I also like seeing different stitches on each swatch. Very helpful. So, thanks for the swatches. I like all of the stitches, but I think my favorite is the Easy Suzette. Of course, the color of the yarn you used is pretty and might add to the look and prettiness of the stitch. 😉😃 And thanks for pointing out how fuzzy some of those are.
I would have been really upset that they couldn’t honor the discount. Pretty yarns on the skein but they work up in a manner that I wouldn't be happy with. I’m sticking with my solids. Thank you Glenda.
Thank you for sharing the fuzzy factor of the yarn. Something exactly like that happen with my daughter except it was her nose and had to go to surgery to have the fuzz removed.
The colors are really pretty You can take your receipt and coupon back to my Joanns when you don't have them They usually pull them for you at my store I am so sad to hear they didn't do that for you Thank you for your swatches I love this series
I love this series. It really does give us a chance to see how it works up and you are so right about loving the way a yarn looks and then not liking the way it works up. I have had that happen many times with variagated yarns. Thank you so much!
I love the Funbrights color is so beautiful. Pastels color is very pretty and soft and the Suzette stitch looks great on it. The Oatmeal color looks really good in the Loopy Stitch. Thank you for this video. So informative.
Thank you Glenda. I like the look of the Big Twist yarn but when it is worked up it comes up a bit too busy for me. Thank you for showing the samples it is really appreciated. Best regards
I really love that you do this, it's helped me a few times to chose a new stitch! While that is a pretty yarn, I wouldn't pay that price when there are many other options out there. I would have called customer service and ask for a price match. I do like the yarns but really ...the laundry care of them stops me from getting it.
I LOVE this series! I have bought so many variegated yarns to end up not using them because they aren't so pretty when stitched. Plus they really hide a lot of the stitch definition as you said so I have trouble finding an acceptable stitch. This series helps a lot. Thank you so much for your time and effort.
Thanks - this was really helpful! I really like how that Oatmeal color worked up. And, I don't normally like pastels, but the stitch that you used is really attractive. This series is very helpful, because sometimes I'll see a new yarn color in the store, but be disappointed when it was worked. When I shop JoAnn's, it's usually online! I don't shop Michaels if I can help it! *I MISS AC MOORE!!* I could find things there and nowhere else.
Very pretty yarn, but I agree with you about not using it for a baby blanket. Babies have a reflexive grasping motion and get stuff like that fuzz on their fingers. Into the mouth it goes! Love this series. I don't usually gravitate toward shades of brown, but the colors in this yarn were really pretty.
I Love the swatches they were all very beautiful and amazing. You do such an Amazing and Stunning job on everything and are such an inspiration to me on making more and more projects. Thank you for everything you do 😊💜
I was reluctant to try electronic coupons at first. After seeing people ahead of me at checkout using them (pre-covid) finally tried it, with help in the store the first time. So much easier & convenient than paper coupons.

Ditto...LOL
I really liked the look of the Oatmeal when it worked up. Thanks for doing these swatches.
😍😍😍😍
So beautiful 😍
I like this series. It’s nice to see how the different yarns work up.
Thanks again. My favorite is the Oatmeal. Gorgeous!
Thank you for continuing this series. This would make beautiful blankets, unfortunately the no dryer thing would be a deal breaker.
Those are all beautiful and again you pick such good stitches to show it. My fav is the oatmeal. I love in PA too. ❤🧶

Thank you for this review! I think its very helpful when you show variegated yarns worked up with different stitch patterns.
I always wondered how this would look!! Ironically the baby colors were the prettiest to me but as you said… quite fuzzy for baby plus no dryer. Love this series SO MUCH!! 💜

Glenda thank you for showing us about this yarn. Beautiful colors. 😃💖
This is really helpful to see what the Big Twist variegated yarn knits/crochets up like. Thanks for your video!
Those colors are beautiful and they look so soft. Thank you for making swatches to see how they work up. It's very helpful.
I totally appreciate seeing these variegated yarns worked up in the different stitches. I tend to hesitate buying them because I don’t know how they will look. So very helpful for me.
Love seeing what a colorway would work up like. Thanks for all you do Glenda!

@@christiandavidsonlamore6301 hello to you
Didnt think I would like the bright red and yellow one but it looks good done up. Really enjoy the stitch series thank you!!
Love the way this yarn worked up. Nice for a variegated. I agree with alternating with a solid.
Thank you I see these yarns love the colors …again would not get it now! I like more gentle color ways. Thanks again
Thank you! I need to see a swatch to know if I like something. I’ve bought may yarns that once crocheted I didn’t care for it. I find these videos invaluable.
I have always shied away from those types of yarns but thanks to you I now know what I've been missing out on. They are beautiful 🙂
I’ve never had an issue at JoAnns but quit shopping at Michael’s because of how they do their coupons and sales.
I absolutely LOVE JoAnn's Big Twist yarns. Hands down my go-to yarn.
Really like these videos and seeing the different stitches. Please keep doing them they are very informative.
I especially like your swatches using TWO DIFFERENT STITCH PATTERNS for variegated and striped yarns, gives a much better idea of what it looks like made up.

I like this series. Nice to know what it will look like worked up.
Thank you so much for the swatches!! It makes such a difference in deciding whether or not to purchase them. I really like the short color changes.
Thank you so much for these samples and the info, I never thought about the fuzz and baby blankets. 👍🙂

I love this series. I had some yarn that you had one time and I knew what stitch not to do because of how the colors came out. Thanks for sharing.

Very interesting to see them worked up. I liked the rainbow and pastels the best. I would like to make a hat and scarf set out of them.

Beautiful pastels shades..so pretty!
Thank you for sharing the fuzzy factor of the yarn. Something exactly like that happen with my daughter except it was her nose and had to go to surgery to have the fuzz removed.

Never used this yarn. Not a fan of the fuzzies on it. Very busy colors, thanks for showing us how they work up.
Just watching this and i feel i can’t breathe. I hate fuzzy yarn
One of my knit projects, I have over a month (based on full-time hours) plus 8 large skeins of yarn (thank God I got it all on sale).

I am glad you showed us that the yarn is a bit fuzzy. I agree with you that it is not well-suited to baby blankets.
