The nasal spray like "Afrin" have been sold for years at DT and I used to get them because of my allergies. However, they can be addictive, with a rebound effect.

I was literally about to come here and say the same exact thing! What little slice of heaven is his store in? Every single Dollar Tree near me is dark, dingy, floors are dirty and the shelves always look like Yucca Flats after the blast. Not to mention all the boxes you have to squeeze by because there’s only one person in the whole store…. Like always. No one else is there to put stock on shelves.
Kneeling pads are good for parents to use in the bathroom for kneeling while give children baths.

I use laundry sheets when I travel - cut them into fourths and put in a small ziplock bag. Then they’re all set for a bathroom sink wash. I also take a large two gallon ziplock bag and will use that for laundry.
How do you fit pants in ziploc bags?

You never mention THE top deal in dollar tree. 1.25 shower curtain liners. In other stores they range in price between 10 and 20 dollars. They guarantee they will not grow mold or bacteria but they always do. When I clean my bathroom I change the 1.25 shower curtain liner with a new one. They don’t have a chance to get moldy or full of bacteria and the price is less than buying the one for 10 bucks that you will get rid of in a month. Today I scored 4 with magnets on the bottom so they’re not so flimsy. And next week it’ll be a new one fresh and clean.

I added another shower rod inside the other one, about 4 inches away from each other. Then, after the shower, pull the liner over the inner rod, and it dries well, and you don't have to purchase so many curtain liners. That way it isn't laying against the tub holding the water to start to get moldy. I've done it this way for a lot of years.
My latest liner, I actually paid 20.00 for it, because it's like the ones they use in hotels, thicker, better fabric, and I'm able to machine wash it as well, has been with me for 5 years. That is a lot of $1.25 adding up.
I'm on a limited income and need to pinch the pennies!
I don't buy plastic curtains. I have a cloth curtain and when it stains i just put it in the washer with bleach.
I get mine at Target for i think $6 and i only have to replace it twice a year. Poster is doing something wrong. If she has to replace them so often.
The Dollar Tree employee that placed that sticker had to have a great sense of humor. That was hysterical. Those Mac and cheese boxes look intriguing. I bought a bunch of St Patrick’s Day stuff a couple of years ago and I use them to decorate a small white tree in my office.

I will be spending more of my hard earned dollars at Dollar General. They have quite a few Dollar Tree items still at the $1 price. I go once a month to stock up on cleaning supplies and use the $5 off $25 coupon to save even more. I'm tired of DT sneaking in price increases here and there.
Just went to DG on Sunday to stock up on cleaning supplies for the season! I used to favor DT but they are always a mess, long lines, and the prices have increased on items that I don't agree with lol
I forgot about Dollar General, thank you for reminding me. Also about the $5 off coupon if I should spend more money in there. But it's worth the trip if I need what the store has, it's just several minutes away from my workplace. Sometimes we just go check it out during lunch break. ❤️🌺🙂
I just used that Mason jar mug to hold a small, fresh flower arrangement. It provided a stable base and looked great. I bought a DT yellow grosgrain ribbon to tie around the top and filled it with greenery and yellow mums.

I highly recommend the dry laundry detergent sheets in general. The pods leave behind micro plastics that add up to lots of plastic in the ocean. I have not used the Dollar Tree brand, but I can recommend True Earth and Earth Breeze. :)

A suggestion….. my Dollar Tree carries La Sierra refried pinto beans, which have become our favorite prepared beans. They are absolutely SO good. They come in a convenient pouch perfect for camping or backpacking, and in cans. For $1.25 you don’t get good beans for anywhere near that. We always have a stash in our pantry.
The store also stocks good tortillas.
The nice lady who works there told me about them, and I’m hooked!
The hot hands and hot toes can also be used in a cold work environment. I used them when I worked on a shipping dock where it was as cold as being outside
I was surprised at how well these work!!! I get very cold hands and feet and they heat up Very well. Certainly worth the money!!!
Yes! Even tho I don't use them, I do work on a shipping dock loading trucks & these are a great idea!
I buy these for my daughters girl scout troop when we have outside cookie booths and it's freezing out. By the way it's cookie season now ! Get your Girl Scout cookies!!🙂❤
The squeegee (spelling?) works great for your car when the outside of the windows are damp from morning dew

I don't know about the laundry sheets at Dollar Tree but I have been using sheets from Clean People and love them. No more huge plastic jugs for me. Yay!
I agree I've been using the Arm & Hammer detergent sheets and love them 😊 no more lugging huge bottles of laundry detergent 😊

Perfect for travel - put one in a ziploc with a dryer sheet and you are covered for a load of clean clothes
I use NaturOli soap berries. Excellent & eco friendly. I travel all over World backpacking. These are plane friendly. Also, wool balls from Australia for dryer. They weigh nothing & if you have cats, they love them after usefulness. Laundry sheets didn’t work for me.

Tell your parents that if needed, the camera zoom feature on their phones can be used to enlarge text. Conversely, a photo can be taken and then zoomed in on the picture. The phone flashlight works in a pinch as well, though it's probably less discrete than the flashlight your dad carries.
Our favorite item at the Dollar Tree is the shelf-stable milk, and I may actually have heard about it from you! We started buying it for sailing trips not only to save room in the tiny 'fridge, but to have back-up cartons that don't require refrigeration prior to being opened. Most ports we visit are quite a ways from any grocery stores, and no we never have to look for milk. It goes great with the overnight oatmeal I pack in little jars, and the Captain can grab breakfast from the 'fridge before an early morning departure.
No big loss on the Coke and other soft drink price increase. Terrible stuff for you anyway... and same goes for the bread. (Okay, I could say the same for the milk, but the Captain can't seem to live without it.)

The laundry sheets work great. I have been using them for a year now.
I found the detergent sheets, a month ago. I used half of one, then chickened out and also added some liquid detergent, to the wash.

@@paulallen8495Arm and Hammer washer sheets are excellent... and no more lugging huge detergent bottles and all the waste they create! Dryer sheets are highly toxic (so is laundry soap tho, need to make homemade someday) I use vinegar in my wash rinse dispenser and wool dryer balls .. my clothes are soft and static free 😊

This video came at the perfect time I am going to the Dollar tree to buy some gifts for our senior center bingo which is held every Friday at 1:00. They are in need of donations because we don't play for money we play for prizes and there's so many things I can get there and donate them for prizes so thank you so much for all the wonderful information.

Laundry sheets have been around for awhile now and were expensive but now are coming down in price . I love them, no more plastic jugs

Agree. DT has had that same product in the past and it was worthless.
And the generic doesnt smell smell the same.
Vicks is now formulated with synthetic camphor ... I find the Equate brand is still natural ingredients and smells more like classic Vicks - I wore it enough growing up, that I'd recognize is anywhere.

I wash out the spray bottles with the good sprayers that the cleaning products come in and reuse.
Me too. I've been using the ones from F.ebre.ze", with vinegar, window cleaner, bleach, etc. They make a nice spray.
add some drops of liquid soap in them and you'll save loads on handwashing soap

@@manonamission2000 I make my own dawn powerwash n refill the powerwash sprayer works just as good but not that pretty smell, but who cares dishes are squeaky clean. It's water rubbing alcohol and lastly dawn. Or Palmolive whatever brand you get.

If you have allergies, always check the ingredients of dupes/ store brands. Also, stuff labeled for sensitive skin may still contain fragrance allergens (as a friend of ours recently found out). On another note, the kneeling pads are also great for bathing kids/ pets or petting a needy kitty while they eat (our tiny girl is like that, although not as much now). ❤ ya & the dad puns/ jokes!

I wish DT stores were more uniform in what they carry - mine is always has empty shelves and rarely get the good stuff you show. The higher soda price might be helpful in getting people to cut down on their sugar intake - maybe. Good video !

Not a price change, but a quality one. The DT hot pads used to be all cotton, but they've recently changed to a polyester blend and it's not heat-safe. My roommate melted one to a pan the other day.

I have a chronic cough and can recommend the Dollar Tree dupe for non-drowsy Robitussin. I buy several at a time because they often sell out and don't restock for months. The Vapo Rub dupe is also very good. Thanks for all you do Deal Guy!

Man I'm lucky to be near one of the companies that bake bread for a grocery store chains.
Recently I stopped there and got six loaves for $5.
They have an outlet store there. Where they sell bread for a lot less.

Children's liquid Benadryl & Acetamenophin both work well for me (adult) but have red dye...so read the label

I'd like to give a heads up for the pop up pet bowls. The bowls are smaller than most you'd normally see. They aren't very deep. So these are really only good for small dogs or cats. If you have a medium size dog you might want a bigger bowl or just be on standby to fill up the bowl immediately. lol
Those laundry sheets look awesome. I like to use a laundromat to wash my comforters and bulky blankets and dog beds but hauling bottles of detergent is inconvenient. I may get those sheets for that.

Those kneeling pads are great for lots of things - for example, we use them when setting up Christmas lights & displays. Love your videos!!!
The blue and pink plastic pitchers should only be used for cold drinks. I put hot water and tea bags in one to start the iced tea, and the bottom bellied out and was no longer flat with an indent.

Just buy your 2 liter bottles of soda at the grocery store. Sometimes you can get them for .99 cents when they're on sale. You just have to know how to shop sales.
The water is great too my store carries icelandic water which is my mother’s favorite. They also have FIGI water which i like
I stopped buying the spray bottles from the DT because they don't put enough rings on the bottle neck to keep it safe and still twisted in. One full and large bottle of cleaner fell on my foot and hurt my toes pretty bad, when the bottle cap opened by itself while I was using it. I did close it well, but, like I said, the twisting ring on the bottle neck was only ONE.
I know what you mean, I had a bottle of water from Sam's Club and once opened the cap kept popping off.
We just reuse the bottles from our Windex or whatever cleaners, as they're nice bottles & it's better for the environment than tossing... cheaper too!
I normally only use these for water. Keeps the cats off high places

I love my collection of Mason jar mugs. I found that the Canadian manufactured ones fit Mason jar canning lids better than the Asian manufactured ones, which made them more practical to transport in my car.
You can make homemade butter, whipping cream and buttermilk in them too and get the kids involved
I've been using the nasal spray for years so not new for our stores here in Texas. Works great and just like Afrin. Also the children's benedryl works great for me as an adult when I need allergy meds while working but need to stay awake and focused. It works great! Would not recommend the dupe offbrand Vicks..just doesn't hv the same effect.

I will look for the laundry wash sheets at Dollar Tree. I have beenbuying them on Amazon. They dissolve quickly. I like it that I am reducing the plastic bottles.
For a large load it takes 2 full sheets they divide in two pieces. So be sure and figure that out in the cost. For instance, 240 sheets would only be 120 large loads. I use 1 5 sheets for a medium load.
I amin live with this small box of detergent. It is light ro carry, is recyclable with no plastic. The cardboard box may be put into a garden recycle bin.
Some grocery stores or drug stores may have them
I buy the Benadryl dupe to keep on hand for our dogs. Most times it expires before it gets opened. I don’t mind throwing it away for $1.25.

Frozen lemon would eliminate the need for ice and a lemon. I do this after cleaning with baking soda, white vinegar and Dawn.

Yeah, the pop and bread prices are not deals by any stretch where I am. Both can be found cheaper in several bigger stores.

I get my face wipes at Marshall’s or TJ Maxx. Almost always there a huge selection on sale. I also buy Microcellular water there to use with a paper towel. It’s just as good.

I also used to prefer to not purchase DT beauty products. For the same reasons as you may have, but fortunately, kind people and the internet helped me choose safe products...I forget who even advised me to not purchase makeup at Marshall's or TJ Maxx. I then took a leap of faith, due to my financial situation and started using beauty products from DT in 2021. I always read the ingredients and compare them to the brand name (if it is a dupe), but truthfully, we have Matt and 1000s of videos/"PSA DT" 😂.
Now that I have seen their brand name beauty products or dupes (and tried half of them, specifically fond of their b pur brand ❤), I doubt that I can go back to a 80% markup.

While I care immensely about our environment, I initially only started buying these DT beauty finds because of the thrill of the hunt! Now, out of necessity, I try to budget and DT is easier than walking into the holy grail of any Marshall's or TJ Maxx.
Regardless of my bank account balance (or even if I was a millionaire 🤑) DT, sales, and bargains are my weakness! I wonder if I would still be practical and cost-conscious if I hadn't had such difficulty during the COVID-19 pandemic, and now, with obtaining gainful employment.
Marshall's and TJ Maxx carry some amazing beauty products and reputable brands. I have not had any luck since 2016....trying to find my favorite eye mascara makeup remover (it is in a black lipstick-size mascara tube with pink cursive font). I have to agree with another post, your dollar tree looks amazing!! I live in Queens NY and if i want to find a really nice dollar tree I have to go to Long Island lol. Wow, Their prices are going up and up! Although you really have to watch their food products, because most of what they sell is less expensive in grocery stores. Case in point....the Suddenly Salad pasta salad kits are $1.25 for a small box that only makes enough for two people/one meal side. You can buy the same product, twice the size at grocery stores for that price. So DT is not a bargain in that case. Thanks for another fun video. Now I'm waiting for the Sam's Club one so I can plan my trip there!

Buying food at 'dollar' stores is what keeps people broke.
Too true... we have bought lots of bins to organize the pantry, bathroom, & some other areas... DT can't really be beat on bin/storage prices when you're just starting out!
But there chili,beef stew is pretty good for 1.25 if your a single person.
It’s a great bargain if you are single and don’t want the bigger size 🤦♀️
I just found those laundry sheets in DT and they worked surprisingly well. I found them while on the hunt for the Hey Humans body wash. I used to buy that from Target until they stopped selling it. It’s pricey on Amazon

I LOVE the collapsable pet bowls- I use them in my home. They're just right for my cats. I also have the cat scratch board- they're much higher priced everywhere else and my cats love them.
