I’ve been watching you since I was 17 years old. I’m 24 now, living with my bf of 2 years, with a cat in the big city. Time goes by so fast and it’s interesting to see where we go in life. Moving pains are no joke and it can be very stressful especially when you account for small children. I’m so happy you’re back and that you’ve taken time for yourself and your family. And you look terrific yourself 🖤🕷️
That’s so cool! I started watching when I was 16 and I’m 24 now! I lived w my boyfriend at the time I started watching now that boyfriend is my husband lol time is wild
Well for many people she is rich. I mean, even if she doesn't have cash per se, she could sell all of her clothes and then she would be rich, wouldn't she? C'mon, we all know how expensive these are, even when you buy these second hand :D There are so many people that don't even have fancy things to wear, and live in rooms because they can't afford a flat. I think the definition of the word "rich" depends on where you stand, mostly.
I’m so glad you’re back! Despite how small the flat is and how impractical it might be for you to live there, you’ve managed to decorate it beautifully. I hope you find a better place to live in Scotland soon; I know how much you love being there. I love your videos! Greetings from Mexico.
Damn been a fan since almost the beginning of the channel. I was young and genuinely thought you were like old world wealthy as I was first watching you. Now being older and getting a home together myself I understand you were a VERY clever shopper
@@itisblackfridaySorry i haven't been keeping up with you recently! I could've told you that Lanarkshire is cheaper and closer to Edinburgh. I had a massive 3bed flat for £500pm. It seems like an average scottish flat though, a busted door is normal tbh and the lack of light near the bathroom is just normal. You've done it up amazingly! You can completely trust our tap water though, just run it for a few minutes because you don't know how long it's been since it was last used...we don't get limescale build up here though so the tap water is completely safe. If you don't feel safe with the gas cooker in such a small space, you can phone the local fire station to come do a safety check on the carbon monoxide and smoke alarms for free, they'll fit new ones for free if its needed. 🖤🖤🖤
Wow time flies I remember when you lived in Germany, remember this flat when you came back after it had been semi thrashed in your absence and burgled. It really sucks that that happened but the lock situation is so dodgy; landlords shouldn't be able to do that and not give you a heads up and the key???
They can’t, not legally. They also can’t have a non-functioning kitchen, so either Freya doesn’t know this or the landlord is super dodgy and avoiding responsibility.
After I had kids, my priorities dramatically changed as well. Bravo for moving on to the next stage in life with grace and practicality. You have many lovely things, but your best treasure is sleeping in a cot in the front room.
You have absolutely perfected your aesthetic. If not for the little bit of amber hue from candles while you were seated , looks like an old black and white movie 🖤
You could totally advertise your stuff as dark Academia. I know that might pain some people bc its trendy, but you deserve to be able to maximize the money you get for your possessions. You have some very nice things even if broken. It might not make sense to move them to another continent, but if you can maximize the money you receive for them you can replace the possessions when you get to new Zealand.
The flat is essentially a flat of holding (in D&D terms) but instead of magical items, it holds skulls, skeletons and darkly inclined decor and clothing. Glad you're finally able to get everything that you can back to New Zealand and things are finally coming up Millhouse for you, God only knows that you definitely deserve it after all the Hell you've been through.
I LOVE your necklace! It's gorgeous! I hope you find a much better home for you and your small family. I can't stand seeing such beautiful things and people not have the room they deserve to shine, cause in turn you deserve to shine with your lovely things! I love the bed the most! 🥲 Hope your foot feels better soon, too!
Omggg!! I’ve been subscribed to you foreverrrr like since I was like 20?? You have 2 kids?? Awww, I’m 30 now and am having my first lil bat. You’ve always been so cool 🖤 love ur style of videos, very classic UA-cam still which I looove!
"i really want a home. i just want all my things in one place and my family all together" i feel that statement to my very core. i live half the time and have most my family in NYC and the other half of it is across the ocean. going back and forth couple times a year. it takes a toll truly. i wish i could just stay in one place for good. i hope all goes well for you and the family in the move 🖤🖤🖤
Unpopular opinion: I do like the apartment's character. Looks like a very historical area. Sucks that the landlord doesn't fix it up. I'm glad you were able to get your belongings and sorry that your plans changed.
I think the older buildings have so much character. Newer buildings are so boring and badly built. The bay window is lovely. Too bad it's in a bad area and the kitchen...it's not very functional.
Same! As an American, I envy the aesthetic and character of flats and buildings in Europe so much, even if they are small and run down. Everything in the US, unless you’re in New England or NYC, is super modern and boring. Everything looks the same and I HATE it. Black Friday is also an amazing decorator and she has beautiful taste!
I like how real this is I just moved into a smaller home and I’ve had to get rid of a bunch of things and not everything is aesthetically pleasing at the moment but that’s life sometimes
Welcome back my dear. The flat is still super cute and I love the way it’s decorated. I am happy you and the family will be moving to somewhere you can have more space. I would love to see all of the maxi skirts for sure. I hope you sale the maxi skirt online I would buy them. Cheers to you 🖤!
I'm a maximist so I love lots of things that make me happy everywhere I can put it. Your flat is my dream home as far as decor. I do love your place and the view is nice. Good luck and safe travels!
@nervousheadacheit’s in the uk we just prefer to be called Scottish. Why are you arguing with people? Obviously Scotland is in the uk. We just prefer to say we’re Scottish not British
It absolutely made my night seeing your face Freya, I'm so happy to see your doing well. I feel your pain when it comes to moving :( everything is so expensive in my area, plus won't allow pets trying to find a flat is like pulling teeth! I'm living with my boyfriend and his parents now all of my belongings have been stuck away in a locker. I worry about my things everyday I can only imagine how you must feel having all your beautiful stuff stuck in another country. So much love to you and your beautiful family 💗💗💗 I hope everything works out, I will keep you in my dreams🖤~ Madison
Look who’s BACK!!! Missed you so much lady! I hope all is well, and you feel good about everything you had to accomplish, because it must have been a lot of work. One day hopefully you can work out a way to visit Edinburgh and then attend the festivals. Big hugs to you and the whole family, humons and animals!💙💙💙
Welcome! 🏴 I’ve been following your channel for years as a fellow goth, I’m based in Edinburgh and happy to provide recommendations for visiting spooky places in Glasgow, Edinburgh and the surrounding areas 🧛♀️
I was 13, and I wanted a coffin bed like Beetlejuice has in the cartoon show. My mom flat out said NO. Years later, I have a bed with a black frame. Not exactly the same thing, but I kinda like it.
I love all your furniture and your style🖤. It is refreshing to see something different in a sea of grey, beige and white that so many people seem to favour,I myself love colour in my home,I would call myself BoHo,and anything hippie chic. You carry on being you, and ignore any hateful comments.
You should look into Northern Ireland. Best SEN provision in the uk and rents are cheaper than Scotland. Very easy to get to Scotland and England too. Plus nice people, great scenery and excellent schools
I have also been watching since before you even moved to Germany, and seeing the rollercoaster of your life next to the rollercoaster of my life has been fun. When I first started watching you, I never expected to move around so much or ever get married, but I'm loving settling down in a big beautiful house (that my husband won't let me turn black all over, so I have to live vicariously through your gorgeous black apartment)
Lovely furniture....and collections of many kewl stuff the effort to hold onto it..was huge and understandable. Glad you had time to ponder and hopefully you will do well selling what you no longer need.
"I amn't" 😂 I want a bed like that sooooo bad. My bedroom and most of my home reflects my spooky self until you walk into my daughters powder pink room 😂
That kitchen needs reporting to the council as its not meeting safety standards 0_0 I feel it's becoming really common to have substandard places in the UK that are let out. I'm glad to see you back online again ^_^
So good to see and hear you again. Sad you can't bring everything back home to NZ. Congratulations on buying a home. Sounds like a very stressful last few months.
I could really relate to your situation. The dilapidated condition of, your flat reminds the apartment I grew up in The South Bronx in the 1980s. Scary part is the landlord will probably get a high rent for such a shoddy place because folks are desperate. I'm hoping everything goes well for your move and you can build a spooky home for you and your family.
It may be small and such but can we just talk about how beautifully, you have it styled and decorated! Also, recently my daughter was pregnant and before she miscarried, I had suggested Severine, as the baby's name, given it was a girl. I fell in love with that name every since you mentioned that was what you named your little girl. Also if someone says anything about the kids room being black, infants are drawn to black as well as red!
I love everything in your home especially the skulls, pictures and furniture. I make and collect skull, ravens, and pagan items. I hope everything works out well for your permanent move back to New Zealand and you get a big enough home for your family and gorgeous things . Love from fife Scotland x
Welcome back! Good to know you and the family are ok, and I too hope you find a comfortable place soon! Love the bed....and I so wish I had your wardrobe!
So nice to see you again! I can't believe that apartment is even legal lol. How are the children? I feel like the last time I saw you, Severine had been really sick. Hope she's feeling better!
Wow that’s crazy having to use a bucket to drain the washer and the sink, I didn’t think that apartment was that bad apart from when you discovered mold in it, happy you’re ok bat mom 🖤 miss you 🤗
It’s good to see you again sweetie. I’m glad your things have been safe this time around; but sad at the same time that you have to get rid of most of it. I know you love your things and wish I had the funds to help you get them to New Zealand 😢.
I would love to suggest Warwickshire and leamington spa or Stratford apon Avon .I love it here perfect for families, such beautiful history and buildings. It’s quite close to Birmingham for the airport.
You said you have to keep the doors locked at all times because it's dodgy there. In America, I'd say locking the doors is the norm. And we usually have two locks, a doorknob lock and a deadbolt. Is it common to keep your doors unlocked over there? It looks so cozy in there. Sad it's not a nicer place to live. I hope you can figure out a better living situation soon! You deserve a lovely house with your decorative abilities 🖤
Welcome to Scotland 😄 Edinburgh is the second most expensive place to live (especially rent!) on the whole of the UK. Yes, second only to London. I lived in Edinburgh as a student and many students had to use thousands of overdrafts to live there until the Scottish government increased the grants/loans to Edinburgh students just after I left. So I avoided having like £8k of overdraft debt but I had to commute during my last years.
The living room is wonderful! The bedroom as well. But the kitchen... I got depressed immediately. 😂 Also, I'm so jealous you have a muntjack skull! I want one but it's expensive (especially for someone who had to spend 23k on her car recently). For those who don't know: a muntjack is a fanged deer. Maybe it's called something else in english.
I actually love to see a realistic British flat tour despite everything you’ve managed to make it look so cool now I know I have no excuse for not trying to make my tiny flat pretty 🖤
@nervousheadache Is Scotland not in the uk? That’s news to me! I live in England and my point being I lived in a flat with no ceiling no heating and a dash of mould thrown in. It’s relatable unfortunately.
Welcome back we missed you 🖤 I understand why you may feel sad letting your items go as it is hard to get anything even just basic & not ugly furniture in NZ let alone gorgeous gothic homewares (or that could just be my bad luck). Looking forward to the next video
I used to live in a tenement too complete with storm doors. It was bigger than yours though ut was a 1 bed which we turned into a 2 bed with an ensuite the house was fabulous but with a growing family we moved to a house with a garden. I can see the owners did create a rather cheap kitchen from the two alcoves knocked together. Its a shame it doesn't have the original cornice, which would have been ornate and resembled 3d carvered flowers around the edges of the ceilings with a ceiling rose where your light fitting hangs from. I love tenements especially since i grew up in one.
Hi, Been watching you for a couple of years and I think your the most beautiful couple, everything you do is well worth watching, I'm in my 60's and I wanted to be you in my teens but being brought up in a strict Catholic environment wasn't possible, your flat is stunning and I love your vids so thank you have a wonderful time in all you do. 🙂 🖤🦇.
7:14 You could always find a charity like British Heart Foundation which takes furniture or Air Ambulance for your small bits. I donate to charity a lot because when I was homeless they were always so incredibly helpful. So now I give back when I can.
If you've no key for your front door, you can buy a replacement 'Yale lock cylindrical barrel' from any hardware shop for around £12. You just unscrew the 4 screws that hold on the main rectangular lock bit, then pop out and replace the cylinder part.
Sorry i haven't been keeping up with you recently! I could've told you that Lanarkshire is cheaper and closer to Edinburgh. I had a massive 3bed flat for £500pm. I'm absolutely obsessed with your aesthetic/decor! I live in the US, but I would happily purchase several items (and pay for the international shipping). Your treasures would be well cared for, loved, and I know it would help you a bit financially. Having a child with a disability/disabilities is not easy or cheap. I know firsthand how that struggle can be. But I love every single piece you just showed us! I'm an elder goth, and our house is definitely not decorated like the average home of a couple in their late 40s early 50s! I'm a bit too obsessed with skulls, coffins, morbid antiques, and the color black, lol. I'm disabled, myself, so as much as I'd love to buy some of those boots, I can't wear anything with a heel. I also have comically large feet and doubt we wear the same size. I'm stuck with my vintage combat style Docs nowadays. I wish you and your family the best!
I want to drive up from Derby to help rescue you! Also we have a patio. Because seriously, your landlord 😡😡😡 Wishing you every good thing for moving safely, folks x
Not sure if the UK is the same, but here in Canada, there as some hotels that rent rooms/suites out to tenants. At better rates than an apartment. One hotel manager was on the news saying that they had several customers, who had been tenants for 3 years. And the price includes amenities (Laundry, Kitchen, pool, gym). Might be worthwhile to inquire. Never hurts to ask.
oh my god I have been watching since I was 13-14 and it's odd seeing that you now have two toddlers and live back in New Zealand 😭 and the fact that I am just now an adult starting my family is weird but it's nostalgic seeing that old cabinet
So pleased to see this new video! Us elder-goths been out in these streets alone and they are harsh, let me tell you 😉 Ever considered moving to south east England? Close commute to London but far cheaper housing costs, Anyway, where can we find any of those gorgeous garms for sale? Xx
Always love when I see that you’ve posted a new video! I remember when you did the video of the flat getting burgled and it still grinds my gears that people did that!! I would try to keep whatever beautiful things you can and just try to clear the flat out as soon as possible because I think u guys will feel so relieved when you don’t have to worry about two properties etc. Can’t wait to see the next future video of how you guys are all doing! 🖤
I have to say… that silver neck piece you are wearing looks so good on pale Goth skin haha. Love it! Good to see another video update. Dont fret the small things , things can get better and you can find your own place someday . We too are tired of apartment living and were in western new York so its expensive here too. Not rich either. But were alive!!!!!!! WERE ALIVVEEEE!!!! Jk. Have a good day Mr & Mrs Owl! 🦉 and baby owl 🦉 too
It must feel like such a relief to finally be out of that place. I hope you didn’t have to give up too many of your beautiful possessions. But if you are selling clothing’s items I hope I can grab something before it sells out this time !! Last time it sold out so fast lol ❤ missed you
Seeing your stuff in your flat is working wonders for my little black soul. I know how one can form relationships with things like furniture, and if it breaks, your heart breaks with it. What happened to your mantel is criminal. May you continue to accumulate beautiful things to fill your future forever home!
im dying to have this decor its soooooo beautiful wow 😍 im so poor right now i cant even afford black paint 😅 i love that youre not affraid to embrace your style with your kids, theres nothing cuter than a baby in goth clothes 🥰 i did it with my kids too, i got a few "kids should wear colors" but i couldnt care less 🖤
You really got beautiful stuff...what a shame you can't take much to New Zealand....all the best to you and your family. Am looking forward to your future videos. 🖤🖤🖤
Your clothes and furniture are incredibly beautiful. I couldn't bear to part with them 😄 I missed your videos, but I know what it's like with 2 children ❤️

It’s good to see you again sweetie. I’m glad your things have been safe this time around; but sad at the same time that you have to get rid of most of it. I know you love your things and wish I had the funds to help you get them to New Zealand 😢.
Thanks so much for the update! Sorry to hear its been such a rough time! I hope your work visas work out soon!
I would love to suggest Warwickshire and leamington spa or Stratford apon Avon .I love it here perfect for families, such beautiful history and buildings. It’s quite close to Birmingham for the airport.
I'm glad you enjoy it but I wouldn't recommend Leamington, the crime rate is escalating and it's just going downhill. Stratford though yeah
I've fallen asleep with my door unlocked 😂
It really depends on the area tbh, I'm in a quiet area and it's low risk
many people here in the US, especially in the country, don't lock their doors either. Only in the city, suburbs and busy areas you do.
I live in Scotland and we always have our doors locked
Welcome to Scotland 😄 Edinburgh is the second most expensive place to live (especially rent!) on the whole of the UK. Yes, second only to London. I lived in Edinburgh as a student and many students had to use thousands of overdrafts to live there until the Scottish government increased the grants/loans to Edinburgh students just after I left. So I avoided having like £8k of overdraft debt but I had to commute during my last years.
Not really . Edinburgh is cheaper than London.
@@amyamy2673 They literally said "second most expensive"... Behind only London in expense...
Beautiful setup! Wish you could take everything home to NZ. Sending many blessings! ❤❤❤
You have an owlet and abating WOW
Nice to see you and hear you again - love your humor
The living room is wonderful! The bedroom as well. But the kitchen... I got depressed immediately. 😂
Also, I'm so jealous you have a muntjack skull!
Scottish*
@nervousheadache Is Scotland not in the uk? That’s news to me! I live in England and my point being I lived in a flat with no ceiling no heating and a dash of mould thrown in. It’s relatable unfortunately.
@@deathspells666 I never said it wasn’t in the UK. I just corrected you.
@@bobfbull My correction isn’t incorrect, it’s Scottish* hope that helps.
@nervousheadache Your correction is incorrect, original comment is correct stating British
I love your style!! Im sad too that you have to downsize. Can't wait to see you all together again 💕
Welcome back we missed you 🖤
I understand why you may feel sad letting your items go as it is hard to get anything even just basic & not ugly furniture in NZ let alone gorgeous gothic homewares (or that could just be my bad luck). Looking forward to the next video
Welcome back and on Friday the 13th! This is wonderful 🖤🖤🖤🦇🦇🦇
Welcome back, black Friday 🖤❤️🦇
7:14 You could always find a charity like British Heart Foundation which takes furniture or Air Ambulance for your small bits.
I donate to charity a lot because when I was homeless they were always so incredibly helpful.
So now I give back when I can.
Yep I donated a lot to two local charity shops, one might have been BHF :)
You made it cozy as possible and it looks great! That kitchen though :(
Hope you can eventually find your happy forever home. ❤
Your flat is BEAUTIFUL. Absolutely stunning!
You've accumulated a beautiful collection 🖤
We've all had a sh*t flat moment in our lives. Here's to the future 🥂
It's still ok, all your decor and clothing and the little baby's, it's you and just cherish all the wonderfulness in your life
I want to drive up from Derby to help rescue you! Also we have a patio. Because seriously, your landlord 😡😡😡 Wishing you every good thing for moving safely, folks x
I like it Friday! Your collection is so awesome that anyplace will look good. No matter the appattment.
Glad to have you back!❤❤❤
That telephone table!!! 😍😍😍
oh my god I have been watching since I was 13-14 and it's odd seeing that you now have two toddlers and live back in New Zealand 😭 and the fact that I am just now an adult starting my family is weird but it's nostalgic seeing that old cabinet
So pleased to see this new video! Us elder-goths been out in these streets alone and they are harsh, let me tell you 😉 Ever considered moving to south east England? Close commute to London but far cheaper housing costs, Anyway, where can we find any of those gorgeous garms for sale? Xx
Wow! The only other person I’ve ever hear say “amen’t” is my husband! 😂😂 He got a kick out of me telling him you said that. 😂😂😂
so beautifully put together in my opinion, love it !!! 🖤🖤
Welcome back! I can so relate to your situation.
I hope you can get your affairs in order.
That's all I can say! Be well.
I never asked because I was with you before and after and saw how painful it was❤ You're in such a better place, as am I ❤
I have to say… that silver neck piece you are wearing looks so good on pale Goth skin haha.
🦉 and baby owl 🦉 too
Morning, glad things are good! And the babies are doing great :)
The photo with you and your husband is so cool!🖤🎩
Good to see you back! 🖤
Your sofa is giving Lizzie Borden vibes, I love it! ❤
If you end up selling your stuff, I’m definitely excited for that!! I wasn’t able to buy any of your clothes last time you listed them for sale.
It must feel like such a relief to finally be out of that place. I hope you didn’t have to give up too many of your beautiful possessions. But if you are selling clothing’s items I hope I can grab something before it sells out this time !! Last time it sold out so fast lol ❤ missed you
And to think my husband says I have too many clothes! Your flat looks amazing.
Your clothes/jewelry/shoe collection is insane! I literally cannot believe it😮😂😭just wow. ❤️🔥🖤❤️🔥🖤❤️🔥
Seeing your stuff in your flat is working wonders for my little black soul. I know how one can form relationships with things like furniture, and if it breaks, your heart breaks with it. What happened to your mantel is criminal.
May you continue to accumulate beautiful things to fill your future forever home!
That place you had in Germany was awesome.
im dying to have this decor its soooooo beautiful wow 😍 im so poor right now i cant even afford black paint 😅 i love that youre not affraid to embrace your style with your kids, theres nothing cuter than a baby in goth clothes 🥰 i did it with my kids too, i got a few "kids should wear colors" but i couldnt care less 🖤
Black is a color. I hope you didn't encounter too many judgemental people.
I missed so much your beautiful face darling! 🥹🖤 Welcome back! 🦇✨
You really got beautiful stuff...what a shame you can't take much to New Zealand....all the best to you and your family. Am looking forward to your future videos. 🖤🖤🖤
You should call Websters Dictionary and implore them to add "amn't" to the big book of words!!!!! I love it!!!!!
The grandfather clock is gorgeous
First time watching from great barrier island. Epic❤
Your clothes and furniture are incredibly beautiful. I couldn't bear to part with them 😄 I missed your videos, but I know what it's like with 2 children ❤️
Literally love this so much 🖤🖤🖤
