How is the current? I know its only twenty feet of water but I am always paranoid about strong currents as I am only 4'10" and 97 pounds. Was there boat traffic? thanks!
at this site you must be careful not to go past the end of the jetty as the canal current increases dramatically and then boat traffic is a risk, but it a good dive for hundreds of yards other way so no reason to get too close, shore diving here was never too bad with current, the time we took a boat out there was a decent current and we had to follow anchor line down and keep our heading carefully into it
