Kendal, there is a really good size cucumber plant at 11:32 that is hanging right by that log! I guarantee if you trace the vine you will find a good amount! 👍
What i do with those little panfish bites is put a couple of them on the hook, and smoosh it about to shape it into a little torpedo, kinda magget or minnow body shaped, to camouflage the hook into the bait. If you smash flat the back end to flatten the sides, near the round of the hook bend and flatten the top and bottom at the front near the eye of the hook (think of a mini rattletrap shad shape), and throw it on a small J hook with a splitshot, it'll float off the bottom and kinda dive with a slight swim if you jig that splitshot off the bottom, and then float back up the distance of your leader. Works great for finding suspended crappie, trout, or bluegill, especially in small high pressured ponds and creek pools.
