I have been buying and selling on Ebay for 21 years, in all that time I have received "1" bad review. In December I had some merchandise that I had listed on Ebay stolen and could not fulfill some orders. I did not realize there was theft until I had to cancel orders when I found items were missing. I have lost my good seller status and have not been able to talk to anyone who makes the decisions on Ebay. Now they are charging me extra fees for selling without good seller status and extra fees for every item listed when it sells. I'm looking into listing merchandise elsewhere.
Yeap. They are brutal when it comes to stuff. I think eBay should be doing more case by case when they take someones account to a lower status or wipes them out completely.
Good call on the law books. My husband is a lawyer and has thrown all his law books away. Although they are pretty, but now information can be found online and it is more up to date. They take up so much space

If eBay wants to adjust a price because they know that particular buyer is more likely to buy it. Fine with me, but don’t change the amount I’m supposed to make on it.
I'm just thinking that if any company can adjust a promotion fee etc by using AI they will. It will be very interesting.

My comments on AI, unintended consequences. There is know way they can make a robot think like a human. I'm sick of Microsoft or Apple changing thing on their products, there' re just manipulating us. Ever try to talk to a human at Intuit, forget about it, your pulling your hair our. I'm sure that AI has potential to good but the nerds that learn how to use it will find a way to srew us.
AI has some good things, but I have a guess that we are going to have many issues with it. Unfortunately we are helpless to stop any of this. We are going to have to adjust in our everyday lives with AI. Nuts.
