I appreciate that video. I just had to complete a form for the insurance company and I explained that I am not one who believes it won;t happen to me. I've read the instructions on the descenders and know that they are not for fall arrest. An accident can happen to anybody anytime and when it does it happens without warning. Remember, everybody out there who has had an accident did not expect it and did not have time to avoid it. If they had they wouldn't have had the accident. Use the proper gear and clean a long life. Thx.

You mentioned that 1400b is fine as long as it's on the back D-ring. Why does that make a difference. Also if you don't have a shock absorber on an ASAP, the same thing will happen (any toothed device)
