I just got mine and I love it, however it is still not TSA Approved mainly because of the tungsten carbide glass breaking spike. Still a great pen and self-defense tool in metal detector-less non permissive settings though. Unless someone wants to share a story of them getting through metal detector without it being set off by the carbide tip.

I have personally traveled through at least 50 TSA checkpoints in North America (many US states and Canada), Europe, UK, Iceland, Hong Kong, Indonesia... with my Stealth Pen Pro in my bag without causing any questioning. It has metal, mainly aluminum, so depending on the sensitivity of the metal detector, it may set it off. So, not TSA approved, but from my experience it does not raise concerns.

I clip mine on my shirt,it’s barely visible,yet if I get into a situation where needed, I simply put my open hands up in a non combative manner. I simply say I don’t want to fight,but my pen is at the ready in a moments notice. Does take practice deploying the pen. Thanks.

One small problem,Doug is very very highly trained at using knives and katambits for self defense,most folks buying these tactical pens probably need some training,before heading out on the street armed with a tactical pen.
Looks like a great product, I'm still carrying my old Uzi pen ... have had for years. Might upgrade now. But... this guy cracks me up, all of this Kali Flow stuff, that's NOT how real world fights go down. I'd keep the Pen concealed until ready to use, then forget 'flow' and pressure points, use massive , extremely violent force with your strikes to 'shock and awe' the perp with pain, then get the hell out of there. This Kali crap is BS and will get you killed on real life mean streets. So practice with the pen striking as fast and hard as you can on stuff like boxes, pumpkins, anything you can see the real effects that it can do, only then will you be a believer.. but yah, "This Pen Will Keel..."
Hi @wherezthebeef! When it comes to real life scenarios what you says makes sense. This is a great tool for EDC and will always come in handy no matter what the emergency situations is. Yes of course, attacking your attacker and getting a way from him as soon as possible is the best way to get out of such a scenario. Like you said this pen IS a KILLER so do try and as it is time for an upgrade ;)

@@tonayo27 The pressurized cartridges mean that even if you store the pen upside down for months, it will be ready right away. Same thing if writing upside down, it will keep on writing. Still based on a ball system. So it is a ballpoint pen. I honestly cannot recall for the video.
Doug your attacker doing nothing back when you doing your fightmove. There are no counters . He is a dead opponent like a wooden dummy and a wooden dummy is the opponent who not moves . Your opponent always moves and fight back Doug this is very easy to doing things opponent is like a doll.

Our Stealth Pen Pro uses Parker G2 type of ink cartridge and that means it accepts Fisher Space ink refills as well :)
