  • This is by far my favorite type of locking mechanism for a pocket knife to date. It’s fun, fidgety, and absolutely clean!

The best part about the PL-XT is it has an actual detent ball because of the way the pivot is built. So not only is it a cleaner aesthetic it’s also so much snappier than a button lock being used as the detent

Very cool. I want to see how the lock works. It looks like a very interesting Folder. I want to try the larger PLX-F. Thank you for sharing. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

I have seen a disassembly Video on this Knife. And, it has a whole lot of parts. It definitely isn't a easy one to to take apart and maintain. I still want the larger Flipper Model, the PLX-F. I just won't carry it all the time due to how hard it is to take apart and maintain. Looks great. :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

    Nobody has explained the switch.

      It’s a pivot lock if that’s what you’re looking to seek 🤔🤙🏾

So let’s say the blade is out. Does the switch prevent you from accidentally pressing the pivot lock? Does it deactivate the button? So up is locked and down is unlocked?

@@angrychivafanyou got it, I have the knife and can confirm the switch operates just as you described.

Oh yes! The switch is the safety. So switched on, you can’t press the pivot to bring back the knife. The only thing is when the knife is closed, the safety switch is obsolete
