Package came nicely protected. There is one flaw in the setup that made it very difficult to put the sand in the base. There should be three chambers in each piece to pour the sand in. We are really struggling and it is taking much longer to set up because of this issue. Still not finished!
Based on the instructions you need to fill the base with sand and water. My concern is what I should do in winter? Do I need to take it down? Or it safe to let it outside?
@@cheefussmith9380 Yea I bought some we shall see if my plastic blows up or not this winter. Pitfa to try and fill wirh sand or pebbles due to poor engineering with multiple channels through each piece.
Hi I have bought this umbrella from Costco in the UK and it was a display model, but as that was the only one I could get I was fine with that. But when I got it home I realised that I did not have the battery pack and charger, I have spoken to the store and it seems that they have not got them and think the have been lost. I have been looking online to see if I can get a replacement parts but have had no luck so far. Would you please let me know if you can help me, as Costco have said I can return it for a refund but I love this umbrella but would love to see it with the lights on. Many thanks Kay Whittaker (Newcastle upon Tyne) England

Thanks for the help from ontario Canada!
Just got mine at Costco but it’s a 10ft instead of a 11ft. Not sure why they decrease by one foot! Wish it was bigger!

2 of my led strips won’t light up anyone know ho to fix this?
Can you just fill the bottoms with water? Would make it easier to store in winter by just draining the water out.
What about the water freezing in the winter time and cracking the base?
They make non toxic antifreeze that works well.

@@shanew7361 agree. I just filled mine with water. I’ll add antifreeze when it gets cold. I agree the sand is a pita
Use pea gravel instead?

Using pliers to tighten a hex head bolt?!?! YGBFSM
I cringed a little hah.
All in 💪
The video is misleading the base pieces were put in place without the sand and water.
She is just very strong.
Umm 1.5 x 4 is 6. You need six bags of sand
It’s 1.5 for A pieces (=3) and 1 for B pieces (=2) so total is 5
