Hello Kieu, very sad that only 4 pigs survived the cold weather disease, some satisfaction that you were able to sell when pigs were in demand and prices reasonable and you were able to recover some of the cost of raising the whole herd. Many people don't realise the loss incurred from the 6 pigs that died include the original cost of purchase, the cost of feeding them until they died and the lack of any return for the hundreds of hours of your labour and care that were spent in giving them your best care. But you cannot change yesterday but hopefully you learnt some things that you won't repeat or will be of assistance in raising the next herd who will be blessed to be raised under your loving care. Whilst somewhat inappropriate in the circumstances, I do get a lot of joy and pleasure from the constant views of the colors in your beautiful garden and I am sure I am not alone.
Hello dear friend, only you can understand my hard work to raise a pig. All the money to buy piglets, money to buy feed for 6 dead pigs and 4 live pigs. Fortunately, the 4 live pigs were sold, I could only get back the money to buy piglets and I lost money on feed costs. But in animal husbandry, profit and loss are obvious, sometimes good, sometimes bad, one herd compensates for another. The farmer's work must continue. Thank you for always accompanying me.
