You can say “not easy to rock” about a lot of colors and then end up having your outfit in white and dark colors, this butter color can add a good pop of color
Kanye was probably sitting down inside his in home theater, eating popcorn and was like damn... this butter is fire. I like how the bottom sole is literally like popcorn butter color.

FUN FACT: The different colored ribs on the heel of Yeezy V2s is for driving. If you notice, all V2s have a darker color on the heel, so that when you are pushing on your car's gas pedal, your heel will not get as dirty as it would if it matched the rest of the shoe.

I actually love the look of these YEEZYS. My YEEZY cops in 2018 were these and the blue tints. (I know the blue tints are from 2017)
I'm a big fan of this shoe, and can actually appreciate that the hype died down due to the lackluster resale values at the moment, making it easy to cop if I wanted to.
Bro it goes perfect with burgundy, black, navy, brown, dark green... If you find it hard to rock them then you need a color matching lesson...

Fantastic review, Seth. Haven’t seen anyone break down not only the shoe, but the intentions & background of the design from Kanye as well. Detailed & informative. Agree with your outfit executions...I’ll be wearing it with one color...black jeans/joggers, or very light colored slim denim. Can’t wait to pick up.
Tbh I think if you keep the colours simple (grey, whites, blacks) and use them as a pop piece, they’d go great if you want a simple summer fit great way to stand out but keeping it simple at the same time great review Seth keep up the great work

Seth, had to revisit this review. It’s one of the best imo real chill. It’s been a while and I still love my butters. A few side notes, 1. I did a deep clean about a week ago and the sply 350 is way more prominent under uv light. 2. When you do a deep clean (in my case I always reshoven8 my shoes w/3 brush system. ) the color fades just a bit and I mean small. Overall one of my favorite yeezys and went to many art museums in DC and ppl loved them, upper class women in there 60’s asked a lot about the shoe and loved them. Just wanted to update on things. Keep up the good work.

Just got these for $200 'Worn' on Sole Supremacy this week. The look completely DS, even the shoe lace on one pair is still factory knotted. Basically someone wore these one time for probably 30 minutes inside and now I get them for less than retail over a year later. Thanks bro! They're going over 300 in my size DS Sole Supremacy got some steals on the Worn section. I got the Obsidian 4's also look DS with Dust Bag and all accessories but 'Worn' for $220. Completely DS looking Butters and Obsidian 4's for $420? YES PLEASE! Those 4's were $450 retail I had to cop them. Plus shipping one pair was the same shipping two, so I talked myself into getting the 4s saying "its free since shipping 2 pairs costs the same as only getting 1"

I honestly love this colorway!!! Love the super moon yellow 500's as well. It definitely an attention getter. Regardless of stock this is a must have for me. And where I live, Jax FL, shoe game is weak so I don't expect to see a ton of pairs on feet.

i’m not a fan of a lot of the v2s, however i actually like this colorway considering it usually isn’t used. that lime/highlighter yellow color looks really nice.
I called my Local foot locker to see if they were gonna get them and this lady answered saying yes. And i called them the butter yeezy and she said yeah sure whatever you wanna call them like ok lady.

Im surprised by how you said you cant really match these with almost anything. As you said Ye said he wanted these to be more of a minimalist fit. You can wear these with any faded distressed black or blue jean and any black grey white blue pastel colored shirt
I was at h&m today and in the men section they had a shirt that matched perfectly with the shoe, just some black shorts and it’s good
If you look rly close at the pattern on the creams, there are cream and white wavy stripes throughout the upper, not just white
They look fresh
You have to wear it as a contrast with other pastels
Colors, like light tan, beige, pink, cream and pastelle blues and purple would make them pop and blend it better I would wear like tan colored clothing, bronze colored tops and black jeans, lift denim wash or Olive joggers/tappered pants

Pairs well with pastels. Lavender goes really well with these kicks. Got them for my wife and she's been wearing them with black leggings and pastel tops. IMO these look much better on girls than guys.
