Mo dupe Taiwo Ehineni. Indeed, of all the videos I've seen on Yorùbá tone marks, this is the best and it helped a lot. I would like to understand a little better the purpose of the dots below the vowels, because they do seem to change how they are pronounced. But great video. Many thanks from Brazil!
i am gratefull, thanks for the video; i have three questions teacher Taiwo i am a native spanish speaker so i was wondering me if the low tone of yoruba is the same to the accent in spanish like in "papá" for example wich means father, this is a tone that is pronounced high and should immediately be lowered, or also as the four tone in mandarin my second question: the high tone of yoruba is the same as the question tone in spanish? or as the second tone in mandarin? this is a tone which is pronounced low but then gets lauder, this have not a signal in spanish but all people knows this must be pronounced to do a question sentence ultimatly: is the yoruba mid tono the same as the first tone in mandarin? your explanation of this tone was the same as the mandarin teachers 😊😊 Can you answer this three questions to me please :)
