Nice, very educational. The endgame in Game 2 was interesting. It reminded me of Naroditsky’s endgame video about knights. The main idea I took from it was that knights are poor at handling edge pawns and that we should swap the labor: the king handles the side pawn and the knight focuses on the other part of the board.
_"..the tricky part is not finding a move, but knowing what to focus on.."_ Well, mainly that's what i've been learning on this channel. You're a great coach, Sir
My wife asked me what I want for Christmas. I said I want a capybara. She wasn't thrilled with that idea despite their cuteness. My second choice was an Alex Banzea Chessable course. She said YES!! Now the conundrum ... Caro or London, London or Caro, decisions, decisions 🙂 Have a Merry Christmas Alex.
Definitely Caro so then you can get the jobava course when it comes out in the next few months. If not that just get a new wife so you can get Capybara
The fun of watching this brilliant guy move his moves is way different, for me anyway, than using these openings in my own games which don't quite work out the same way. Better to just watch him🤣😎
@@AlexBanzea Thank you Alex, you are by far the BEST CHESS TEACHER out there. You are young, talented, funny, wise. You deserve the "Grand Master" title because you teach chess. You dedicate your time in teaching, even during a match! Amazing! I have returned to the Caro-Kann after some many years thanks to ONLY you. You are the BEST. Keep it up. 🙂👍
Nice to know your course will have a chapter on the French. Many French players use the order 1.d4 e6 2.Nc3 d5 3.Bf4 Bb4!? Also important (imo) is to deal with the Pirc and Modern, when black plays the moves d6, g6, Bg7 in some order...
Excellent stuff AB! As usual. Had watched SF video before indulging in this...titled god level showdown stockfish vs torch (7 days ago). Battle of 4000s. Insane closed positional play. Amazing stuff that I'm certain you'll appreciate.
@AlexBanzea Yes. With the Dutch in human chess, I've been advised by a reputable source 😉 to get our B out early to g5 looking to mercilessly chop Nf6. Silly engines insist on being all flamboyant and doing their own little thing. Pfft. Damn show offs.
I just finished the video and I did join the wait list. I’m really interested in your way to play Jobava and I might be a Jobava player in the future! Thanks again
Hey Alex! I recently bought your Caro Kan course, and I'm LOVING it! How far out is the Jobava course? I can't wait! Are there any plans for a Queen's Gambit course for Black? I found the video you made recently very interesting, and I would love to get some more videos on that subject. Let me know! Regardless, you're awesome!
To say it is slow is to imply black can do something to in counter-attack. I don't see that he can. And after P×N, that is a smite on g7. Smite; threatening mate with the other side to move.
Hi Alex, as your jobava course wont be on chessable could you make it possible so its very easy to download the course from your website and import it into chessable please? I just like to have my review all in the same place :) Also how many variations do you think your course will have and roughly what average Depth will it be?
It will have two repertoires (mini repertoire of less than 100 trainables below 2000 elo + high elo). It’s not only an opening course tho, lots of exercises and model games coming with it.
Nothing better than rewatching Alex's old videos and a notification pops up for a new video.
I know a better thing.
*bishop enters the chat*
This is so right ❤
Our beloved Alex "Jose Raul Capybara" Banzea returns
nothing better than another JOBAVA VIDEO!!!
LETS KEEP THIS JOBAVA TRAIN RUNNING!!
Nice, very educational.

The way Alex destroys a 2300 casually explaining the moves always amazes me

Hi, really liked the 2nd board for deep lines. Really help to visualize
My favourite Chess UA-camr fr
Capibara was requested, capibara saves the algorithm. Cannot wait the release of the Jobava
Loving the added board walking through your thought process😂
"wins effortlessly" also expends 5 minutes calculating a move in the first game, keep up the good work Alex, love your videos
we play rapid chess, gotta use that time for something...if using it for the final touch ONLY isn't effortless I don't know what it is :P
Perfect starting game. I was looking for videos of playing against the semi slav, and couldn't find much, but here it is!
I was supposed to eat lunch… but… Jobava
He is back at it again with the jobaba london. Love your videos man.
A big YES from the French Rep Alex!!! Thx a lot for all your content ^^
I was going to have lunch, thinking this wasn't going to be uploaded today, I will have a very happy meal now
The only online UA-camr chess coach I need !
Fantastic and instructive games! Thanks!

new speedrun starting soon!
That -- was awesome, and fun.
Thanks for bringing back the analogies and listened to my concerns 😂
Thank you Alex for making me a better chess player. I really like your style.
Hey man just wanted to say I appreciate all your uploads
Again best content ever especially game two with the two times triangulation method
Alex, can you show a video about the Grünfeld Defense?

Epic endgame, very instructive!
Video is cool and instructive. Thanks for sharing.
I really love your style of openings inspire me to play more chess
Thanks Alex
Fun and helpful videos
most instructive opening playlist
I come for the Jobava content and clear concepts, but what keeps me from falling asleep like a capybara are the witty and silly analogies.

it will be full repertoire based on Jobava London.
Capybara works😅😅
This is the best chess content ❤ Jobava time

checked the opening, strange way to play against the dutch!

Great content !!
As always great Capybara London games!
Thank you for posting the draw game to learn from as well. I suck at chess buy the endgame is the worst for me.
1820 on lichess because of you. Thank you man!
YES! Finals in university and Banzea dropping this for my study guide. EASY A
Can you do more videos where the bishop lands on b4? I seem to get that a lot. Love your content. Capybara!
2nd game holly… that’s why chess is beautiful
If you’re gonna make a repertoire against French defense, I hope you choose Tarrasch variation 🙏🏼
I don’t know how to explain, but we already have Nc3 thanks to the Jobava thing 😂🙈
@ oh! Unfortunately I’m not a Jobava player. But that’s fair! Thanks for responding anyway, Alex ❤️
I just finished the video and I did join the wait list. I’m really interested in your way to play Jobava and I might be a Jobava player in the future! Thanks again
@ thank you thank you!
Let me guess, the JobLo. It's the JobLo isn't it!
When’s the jobava London course coming out?
4-5 months.
Hopefully by then I’ll be finished going through your Caro course!
How many capybaras does it take to change a light bulb?
One, but only Alex Banzea knows which one.
Just watching your vedio which I had downloaded , on caro-can now I should study for white .
Like the video . hell with the logarithm.. Alex like it !! ... that and Coca -cola 😅

Also, I just got to the end of the video and saw your Jobava update, so ignore that question 😅
Man I laughed so hard at the reaction to the 84% lolololol
4months - you have a deal Mr Banzea!
What about some vienna games? Come Alex, please show the vienna some love with higher rated oponents
Too late. I am "desperate" for the Jobava course. Hard to imagine it can be 10x better than your Caro or London courses. 🎉
11:40 its very simple 1.bh7 kh8 2,bf5 kg8 3.ne4 1 0
this is why I am only a youtuber!
Mmmmm, Jobava.
you really almost put the capybara on that last guy
Thanks!
52:37 lol. You should have typed in the chat: "Oh no, my Queen!"
Have you ever looked into positions instead of the pawn storm going Nf3 to Ne5 and g4 eventually? I’d love to hear your thoughts on that.
Good video, Capybara
Game 2 is crazy
15:38 When you have a knight on king-5, you can sleep on both ears. -- Sammy Reshevsky
just went up 1000 elo watching this
Tf
I stuck in 1200 for years 😂 middle game is my problem
Jobava london 🔥 high accuracy
I got paired (as black) against a 2100 FIDE rated player yesterday and lost after a gruelling 3 hour match.
Today will try the Joemama opening 😃
please make some queens gambit videos too, would be much appreciated
Bro can you make more videos on white openings your videos is more instructive and the same time you explained thigs like master i love it❤❤❤
The weekend starts!
If in the first game the rooks had been connected, then after Black played Qxd4, white plays Re4 and wins via a forced mate
Appreciate you! Caught this early so I'm commenting FTA
55:20 pawn storm is 😈oh man
52:25 😂you took too faaast! A blunder is a bit slower!!!
good point, I was trying to seem superficial...didn't think of reversed psichology lol
8:28. Black's knight is chain doged to the h7 square. So can you kick the dog? 1.P-g4 , 2.P-g5.
bit slow in general
To say it is slow is to imply black can do something to in counter-attack. I don't see that he can. And after P×N, that is a smite on g7. Smite; threatening mate with the other side to move.
haircut goes hard OG

Im new to this but how is this not cheating? @7:46 he calculates using another board…
That board was added later with editing 😂
won 200 elo rapid in the last month playing jobava and Karo, can you do more Dutch defense ?
Thanks for the free extra 100 elo from your caro course 👍🤝🔥
#1 Capybara on youtube
Game 1, rook H7, than rook G6, and bammm :-)
(kind of hoping it was something other than a JL, oh well) ;) (and you have to put your brilliant underpromotion game into a vid!)
he changed his t shirt after the first game
Can you give us an ETA on that Jobava course bro?
watch till the end bro! (4-5 months) but I explained a bit more
@@AlexBanzea haha alright, I am still watching the video so I didn't know. I will be looking forward to it!
Alex “with that being said, we can move on to the…” me Alex ”…following game”. Also capybara.
There's no way he doesn't take the Queen at 53:00.
Capybaraaaa 🔥🔥
Capybara baby 😂
Alex "Capybara" Banzea
Because of him I climbed from
1300 to 2000🎉🎉
What to play if black plays kings indian??
ua-cam.com/video/vjoUAmv5uwM/v-deo.html
Capybara for real
Why is the rook frozen at 10:00?
