If you think about Echo and Crystalline are scary. Gumi is describing her terrible condition in Echo as well as addiction in Crystalline. As well as Circus Monster, Luka is alone and all her friends left her and it's just her and the tyrant. I think the reason why Crystalline is on this list is because of the meaning behind the song, like, some take it as someone going through the aftermath of a breakup which lots of people are afraid of breaking up with their significant other, and some think of it as someone trying to get clean from drugs and failing to do so. So that's why it's on this list because both situations are terrifying and can be overwhelming.
Echo is a truly scary song because of it's sickening reality. I take the lyrics as a girl who has bipolar and schizophrenia, voices who tell her to unspeakable things, and her personality changes and mood swings drive her insane, and she lights her house on fire before running away.

I think the reason why Crystalline is on this list is because of the meaning behind the song, like, some take it as someone going through the aftermath of a breakup which lots of people are afraid of breaking up with their significant other, and some think of it as someone trying to get clean from drugs and failing to do so. So that's why it's on this list because both situations are terrifying and can be overwhelming.
Echo is a truly scary song because of it's sickening reality. I take the lyrics as a girl who has bipolar and schizophrenia, voices who tell her to unspeakable things, and her personality changes and mood swings drive her insane, and she lights her house on fire before running away.
