Hi, I'm a Nigerian based law graduate planning on migrating to the UK. Hoping to go to the law school or be a solicitor but currently everything seems vague. Plus is it possible to get a job in the legal line will just a law degree?
Please what are the chances available for me, what kind of legal jobs can I get over there in UK. I'm a Nigerian lawyer called to bar and currently a Judicial Research Officer of my State Government Judiciary. I'm attached to a High Court Judge as his Research Officer (government employed). What are the best chances I can get relocating to the UK?
This was very interesting and informative. Point 1 got me! "Understand God's Plan for you". In as much as we want a good life for ourselves, this point cannot be over emphasised. Thank you for sharing!!!!!!!!!!! God bless you both.
Yep - it’s really important to follow God’s plan for your life (and not just do what everyone else is doing) so you can get the results that He has prepared for you
Thank you my own favourite celebrity couple for sharing this informative vlog, beautiful "real" couple...very informative...💕 Keep the videos coming....👍🏾
Hey Tele, thank you guys sooo much for this video, so so impactful.🥰 1)How can a lawyer who’s never practiced in any top lawfirm in Nigeria move to the UK? Do you think lack of experience will be an hindrance? 2) if I as a lawyer is interested in tech, especially in fintech law, would I need to pursue a degree to be able to work in the Uk or would certified courses be sufficient? Thank you soo much in advance ❤️😊
Thank you guys for this Video. My question is very similar the one here. 1. How can a Nigerian lawyer who hasn't practised in a any top Lawfirm and has majorly been a litigation lawyer find a job without being qualified to practice in the UK?
Thanks for this video. My questions: 1. Did you guys do your LLM or take the qualifying exams for the UK bar before you got jobs? I hear if you haven't qualified then you can't work as a ļawyer in the UK. 2. What route did go through to the UK? School? 3. A friend studying in the UK said I should ditch coming to do my LL.M in the UK and take up another course so I can quickly get a job. What are your thoughts on this? I'm a Nigerian trained lawyer. Thanks alot
I'm a Nigerian qualified lawyer ......why attempting to practice law in UK....Can I apply for paralegal jobs in UK Firms.....I'm in Hull and Scunthorpe to be precise
Hi, am a Nigeria Lawyer, please I want to relocate to UK with my husband and children and start practicing over there, but I want to know how can I get a law job with out PQE( post qualified experience)? Can one who doesn't have experience be taken in by any law firm over there?

Thanks so much counsel........ You guys really covered everything apart from the COST. WHAT OR HOW MUCH DON'T IT COST YOU ESPECIALLY IN NAIRA TO PURSUE AND SUSTAIN THIS OPPORTUNITY?
That depends on the route you’re pursuing. If you’re doing a Masters degree first then you have to take all that into consideration. If you try direct without a Masters degree then it shouldn’t cost you anything other than data for WhatsApp calls / emails / VC interviews and/or flight tickets and expenses if you have to fly down for an in-person meeting

Hi Teleola, please I'm a real estate lawyer in Nigeria planning to relocate to the UK VIA study route for masters in real estate. I want to know the job chances I stand to gain in UK
Hey I am planing to pursue my LLM in International Business Law and Corporate Law from UK. Can you advise if I get a Job in MNC as Legal Trainee or Legal Assistant... I want to work in Non litigation Feild in UK as I hv work exp in 7 years in Mnc in India... Also you can suggest me which subject i would opt for my LLM
I’m not sure what “MNC” means but if you’ve practised for 7 years already you should have an area of specialisation, so I would suggest that you tailor your LLM choice to that specialism.
Teleola please are you on visa sponsorship? Please explain, I am a lawyer and I intend to switch to my field here in the UK but I am currently on a sponsored visa.
Please let us know if you’ve got any questions

Hi there - it’s not impossible but your best bet is probably for you to do an LLM in the UK and in that period apply for a law firm training contract
I’m a qualified Nigerian lawyer, though not practicing, but I had these questions. Thank you.
No worries - hope you found the responses helpful

You can maybe try the education route - coming in through an LLM programme so you get a better understanding of the terrain

We’re both Nigerian qualified solicitors.
My question is where else can someone get the list of recruiters other than linkedin?

Is it profitable for me to study law in Uk undergraduate program pls I need your advice?
