your setup looks super smooth!
Thanks!
Much smooth. It is almost... Smooth criminal 😒
I was looking for a fix to this. Thanks. One bad thing about hyprland, if you are working with plenty of vs codes open you will need to scatter them to multiple screens. Not sure if I like this.
Have you tried groups?
How are those tab animations so smooth are these normal animations or some touch up from video editing??!
(Im a windows user and have only used linux via vmware so forgive me if this is some dumb question)
The animations are from hyprland 😁
@@maxhudotdevok... I have no idea what that is, is there a guide from where I can begin( I guess found something to try over the weekends 😊) also how should I begin with installing this os should I dual boot it or can I directly use it via VMware
yea i made a guide on how to install hyprland on endeavouros in virtualbox, you can check that out :)
@@maxhudotdev yeah I watched that video but I felt the animation weren't as smooth as in this video probably because of VMware and also i don't think I would be able to use Linux properly learning commands and stuff seems way too much of a hassle lol
Have a repo for your dotfiles? I like your waybar config.
thanks! dotfiles are here github.com/maxhu08/dotfiles
Thx, also what's the stock BG audio ?
LAKEY INSPIRED - Blue Boi
The fix is to uninstall vscode and install Neovim
lol yea 😂
Gatekeepers, gotta love em 🙄
@@ashebanow ok
hey bro can you share your hyprland dotfiles, very minimal
github.com/maxhu08/dotfiles/tree/hyprland-dots
So is this a way to fix the discord black/flickering issue?
no sorry
Try using discord_arch_electron if you aren't using it already. It's been working pretty well although screensharing is not super good on it. aur.archlinux.org/packages/discord_arch_electron
Installing Vesktop will fix it, and allow screensharing on wayland (with audio!)
@@luderx it doesn't, I use vesktop anyways
@@Mickaleb I got screensharing with vesktop to work but screensharing on webcord is better and is recommended by the hyprland wiki
It's opens a new window, when click the icon...
what
@@maxhudotdev Did you know that you can pin application icons to the taskbar? So, when you click on this icon, a new icon comes off... 🙂
how
@@maxhudotdev obviously
can you share them .got this vid from recommandations
share what
@@maxhudotdevi think they mean the dotfiles, your setup looks quite nice
dotfiles: github.com/maxhu08/dotfiles
why your vscode window looks like its from win10 lol
wdym
@@maxhudotdev your vscode window looks very much alike to a win10 version. I was just wondering which package did you install for vscode?
visual-studio-code-bin
@cldgt maybe ur talking about the title bar. Add "window.titleBarStyle" : "custom" to your settings.json
The best way to fix any wayland issue is to uninstall wayland and never install it again
Use tty, it never fails
nah, wayland is fine
I don't know if Wayland is the future but X certainly isn't.
You cannot uninstall Wayland, same as you cannot uninstall HTTP.
@@LtdJorge this is completely wrong. You can for sure uninstall Wayland. You will be simply thrown in a full screen terminal or X11 if it is installed.
