You gave us an excellent rendition of the song "Så skimrande var aldrig havet" (unknown piece and unknown composer for me). Unfortunately, in northern Spain, it´s impossible to know something about 20th century Swedish ballad tradition.
I will trace the life and works of Mr. Evert Taube.

Cornwall is nice. The song was inspired by the coast of the Swedish province Bohuslän. It looks more like the coast of the US state of Maine.

Beautiful, wonderful!! I don't know the song but I m listening to the delicacy of the composition. U truly create magic with piano. All the emotions in the song are reaching me even if I don't know the song. The song is showing me different pictures. One is calm sea at sunset, golden horizon, mild waves, cool breeze. Other pic is sea at early dawn time when we see silvery waves and looking at sky full of stars. One more pic is beautiful and small river and sitting nearby it and enjoying cool breeze, warm sunlight, sunshine in delicate waves and ripples in the river. All these pictures and a romantic feeling in heart. Is this what the song is about?
