Love develops as your knowledge of that person grows. No such thing as love at first sight. The more you get to know God the more you will love Him. Same goes for any relationship.

The breast plate is armor for the back also. For the Roman soldier, this metal plate went completely around his body, therefore, protecting him from all sides.
Amen and sometimes Christians can think their entire life is about defeating sin habits. But Christ's Spirit says WALK. HE SAYS DO. He has defeated the wages of our sin so that we may RISE AND WALK in NEWNESS of life. It's not a "DON'T" life. It's a "DO" LIFE. ABUNDANCE to continue in the Lord's steps. The greatest battle has been won by Christ. Because of His victory over the curse of death for sin God saves us by His sacrifice and righteousness! It's the gospel that we carry to others that wins the battle for the lost. Instead of marching out to utterly destroy Nations, He sends us out to utterly destroy the enemies work in the life of those God loves. It's a spiritual battle for the dead and Christ still sets sinners free. He is who changes the root of our hearts so that we may be united in God's will (submit) together to seek and save the lost through Christ in the gospel, and not live as slaves to sin/self. He is building a Kingdom that cannot be shaken!
