What a game! BD scored in the last 5 minutes to win the game! Pakistan will be really distraught with the result as now they have to win the next game by at least 2-3 goals and hope the other results go their way. I checked the stats and observed that BD had 60% possession and had more number of shots. In 8 out of 10 cases, teams which create more chances always tend to win games so BD winning this game is no surprise if we look at the stats. BD has now scored 3 goals in the tournament without conceding any which means that they are playing very balanced football. In Group A, only BD has not conceded any goal yet which means their defence is doing their job. They will of course face a spirited and attacking Nepal side in the next game where their defence will be put to test. But with this 2nd win they have all but sealed their place in the semis unless they lose to Nepal by a big margin and Pakistan beats Bhutan by a big margin. So BD just need to put their head down and do what their doing best and that is defending. The attackers are already providing them with enough goals to win games. Pakistan got a taste of their own medicine here after they beat Nepal in the dying minutes in the previous game. The defence of Pakistan is holding up but in both games they couldn't avoid that 1 goal. So the attack needs to step up against Bhutan and I think Pakistan will be favourites to win the next game. Everyone should keep in mind that this Pakistan team is playing after 3 years and these steadfast performances are already commendable. They created chances in this game too and were unlucky to not score one atleast.
