Uh oh, the Freenote rabbit hole. I love em man, incredible company. I’ve been stockpiling for a few years, always pleased with every garment. The website and pictures never do them justice. I just found your channel tonight. I’m in TN too. Enjoyed the video brother. 👊🏻
@@derrickkincaid I’m down it like Alice! I find myself looking for their take on something before I commit to buying anything else. Thanks for the comment!
I just picked up a pair of their 14oz slub workers chinos and they are absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend them especially with Black Friday Deals. Highly recommend Franklin and Poe from my area who have a great stock of them, such good people. I need to try the denim next.
I think the color on the video shows them darker than they are. These are the dark indigo dye. Wore them yesterday to break them and hope to do a deeper dive review soon! Thanks for commenting!
Great review! I own a couple of Iron Heart pieces myself. But if you're in this selvedge denim, rugged style how could one be an Iron Heart fan boy only. I guess thats where the sponsorships come in. I have a pair of The Strike Gold's and they are some well built jeans. Keep the content coming.
@@trapo5382 Agreed! I continue to look for and consider all the big names out there. When you like this stuff, there’s no one right answer! Thanks for the comment!
Came back to this review to say that I finally picked up a oair of thier denim, 16 oz. Indigo Brown in the Rios cut. These are a beast. Stiff at first but I know they will soften woth wear. They are very well made. How woould you say the Portola fits in comparison to the Rios on body?
@@ElTonio2024 That’s awesome brother! The Rios is definitely a little slimmer fitting through the hips. I feel like the Portola from the knees down is about the same. Love how robust or thick they are when you wear them though. Keep me posted on how they break in for you!

Good stuff, got yourself another sub.
Thanks!
Im surprised you were able to get them. The 17oz black rios has been sold out for a while on their website.
