The mere thought of season 1 Jeff intervening to make sure everyone is on the same page in terms of pronouns is completely laughable. Early seasons were steadfast on confronting these issues head-on and showing the group discuss things like religion, kids out of marriage, homophobia, etc. Which is basically the opposite of “woke” in the context that people today complain about it. Confront disagreement, don’t run from it. Above all else, the early seasons loved camp conflict. They wanted it. They would’ve given anything to have pronouns be a thing back in 2001 when Frank was on Africa. The fact that a gay man won doesn’t make season 1 “woke.” It’s just what happened. Come on in guys being removed is stupid! 41 is one of the worst season ever to made! Now it still sucks because it just make the show woke!
My brother in Christ, I think the show was always woke. The first winner was a gay man
The show has been woke the first winner Richard hatch was a gay man and in season 34 they kicked off a guy because he was being transphobic
@@degeneratemale5386 I feel like you’re missing the mark with this disingenuous comparison. Season 1 is entirely focused on putting 16 people from all walks of life together on an island and basically just… Seeing what happens. (Unless they’re about to vote out Rudy. Can’t let that happen).
I guarantee Hatch would be the first one to say that.
what is the issue with having a more diverse cast though? (the casts should definitely be more diverse in background and age though)
@@degeneratemale5386 But he won because he played the game the best not because he was gay.
Getting your feelings hurt over the word guys is down right pathetic we need to grow up as a society
I hate Ricardo more than any other character in history. If he ever returns, I think I’ll barf. shame on you Jeff for letting there woke crap take over. 41 was a joke top three worst seasons of all time.
I am 99 percent sure Jeff wanted to do it anyways and literally anybody could have agreed and that would have been enough. It isn't even like they held a vote. Any one person could have agreed with Jeff and that would have been enough, imo.
Ricard was so unlikable and evil they tried to give him a good edit, but it was impossible with his personality.
Survivor 41 and 42 were absolutely pathetic. Terrible casting, stupid twists, and a shift from a show about gameplay and strategy to a show about sob stories and appearing woke.
Applebees Sucks!
Season 41 was so the season Jeff got neutered by wokeness 💯
Worst change in the history of survivor!!!... basically got too woke after this season...
The cringe woke era
Cry
Jeff on a podcast is puke worthy. Nope fire jeff
I miss “come on in guys” :(
Jeff changing the call in really annoys me
That's really stupid and invalid.
Ive watched every episode till this one... this was woke af and jeff needs to be FIRED! Cant watch it anymore but still watch old recaps and stuff. Aftsr 40 its been woke and garbage
The first ever winner was a gay man, grow up!
Yeah 41 is definitely 2nd to last. Start of the budget era, too many advantages, and the bullshit in episode 1. Survivor 41 tanked survivor forever
S41 > no Survivor season
@ 39 has to be worse cuz of Dan
Survivor 41 probably worst season
Worse than S43?
